"Honey, Honey. Please, dont do anything stupid." Melody holds her hands up to almost press on his chest, Leo pulling away from her.
He scoffs, "Don't do anything stupid?! How long has this been going on! How long!"
A married couple arguing in front of her, acting as if she truly wasn't there at the moment. So, with this new found invisibility she leans over to the nightstand next to her. A pack of cigarettes lay bare, placed next to her blakc lighter. She picks both up, flicking the box open and placing a cigarette in between her lips. The lighter is pulled to the end of the stick, smokin immediately flaring from the flame. Amelia puts the lighter and cigarette back, blowing the smoke from her lips as she rises from the bedside.
"It's been a few days. Honey I'm so sorry. I was just so lonely." Amelia can hear the arguing behind her back turned to the two, humming away as she moves towards the closet.
"You do this with a woman I let in our fucking home?! When have you ever been into women!" Rising from her seat on the edge of the bed, Amelia moves to their closet. Opening it up, and beginning to pluck out the clothing she had put in only a few days prior.
Dropping them onto the bed, she begins to put her bra over her shoulders. Hooking her bra with her own hands with ease, then moving onto pulling her black panties. Picking up the black turtleneck and pulling it over her head. Hands hook at the bottom of her shirt, pulling it down over the skin of her stomach.
The shouting continues, "Don't you shout at me! You're never home, never with me! Maybe if you actually cared!"
"Don't give me that bullshit Melody, I do fucking everything for you. You should be grateful!"
Arguing did not deter her from continuing to dress. Picking up the black pants and pulling them over her legs. Putting her socks on, and then her large boots. Quickly tying them up, holding the cigarette still between her lips.
"Grateful?! I'm the one with a fucking nursing degree! Don't you dare say that shit about my profession." Amelia moves back to the closet, pulling her large black coat out from it. Pulling it over her arms, before leaning down to the hidden shoebox.
Opening the shoebox, she grabs the gun she had placed there. Standing up, pushing her hair back out of her eyes. The cigarette is pulled from her lips, blowing the smoke out as she cocks her gun. Both parties looked towards her with wide eyes.
Amelia sighs, "I've had enough of this."

Blood splatters across the wall behind him, his entire jaw being disconnected from his body as he drops the ground. His estranged wife let out a blood curdling scream. The red liquid all over her cheeks and nose. Amelia's emerald hues flicked to Melody, standing in shock at the sight of her dead husband at her feet. Blood pooling quickly around his corpse, her own skin turning pale.
His estranged wife let out a blood curdling scream. The red liquid all over her cheeks and nose. Amelia's emerald hues flicked to Melody, standing in shock at the sight of her dead husband at her feet. Blood pooling quickly around his corpse, her own skin turning pale. A movie scene comes to life, a nightmare in human interaction.
Melody's lip quivers, her entire body shaking. "W-why.."
Amelia cocks her gun again, a stare cold as ice. There was no emotion in her eyes, in her face. She was back to the hard wall, back to the isolated agent. Smoke swirling from her cigarette in between her lips. "You're next."
At her words, Melody's eyes widened. The frail woman turning on her heels and running out of her bedroom screaming for her life. Amelia sighs, shaking her head walking towards the doorway.
Hand pressed against the frame, her voice echoes throughout the walls of the mansion. "You can't run from me." Her voice pierces any ears that may hear her, heavy boots stepping over the body layered with coats of blood.
Trained ears can hear the pattering of feet against the now hardwood floor, only feet away from her. Her emerald eyes capture Melody's running figure. Still slowly walking, not once does her speed increase behind her. The terrified woman looks back to meet the agent's eyes, met with the head of her gun.
Cat and mouse was a game she had played her entire life, yet nowadays she was the cat. Pouncing quickly onto her prey, taking them out with just one fatal bite.
Melody stops in the kitchen, gripping onto the counter top that once was the place of sin and loneliness. The place where Amelia had taken the faithful marriage the couple once had, and turned it into nothing. Small and weak, crying and sniffling. Begging verbally for her life, pleading to the cold eyes. Melody had no chance to escape, not from Amelia.
Amelia steps closer, watching the shaking vibrate throughout her victim. "Please, please don't do this." Melody's voice cracks, the tears streaming down her cheeks matching her horrified expression. Snot blowing from her nose, she looked pathetic.
All of them did, the head of her gun was the only thing that kept them all together. Unable to escape her clutches, forced to accept their fate no matter how much they tried to fight it.
It was a shame, if she had not been caught with Melody by Leo she would have lived. Collateral damage for the husband she would have lost, a grieving widow. Living on without a husband, but very much alive.
Her head tilts slowly to the side, examining the cowering woman in her stance. Melody was defenseless, she had nothing left to offer Amelia. "Do I really care about your begging?--"
Melody's eyes widen further, turning away from Amelia to begin running once more. She knew there was no bargaining with her attacker, she had to run.
Yet, that's all Amelia wanted her to do: Run.
"–No."
In a moment she feels the push back of her handgun. Bangs that pierce her ears, unable to hear for a few seconds. Watching as Melody's body falls down onto the ground, hearing the agonizing scream leave her small throat. Both bullets had struck her legs, which made them ultimately useless. Ligaments torn, muscles completely seared in pain. Holes pouring blood quickly, drenching the skin with crimson red.
Not able to run nor walk: Melody had no chance of escaping Amelia now. Her eyes snap to the tile floor, blood beginning to pool through the tiny cracks. She can hear the grunting and sobbing around the island. Being injured she still was trying to get away, Amelia walking around the small obstacle to witness the sight.
A smear of blood followed under her thighs, crying and screaming for help as her hands dug harsh into the connected wood floor. Pulling herself small distances, her own dead weight too much to carry. It was a pitiful sight.
Not one part of her felt bad in this, this was all for a cause. All Amelia could truly think of is her father's life, not the one she was about to take. If her father got to live, Melody was going to die for a good reason.
Amelia wastes no time in coming directly behind the crawling woman, stomping her foot into the center of her back, pushing her back down onto the ground. Face smashed onto the wood, groans of pain filling the air. Standing there, tall and proud on top of the defenseless. A few seconds to process the sight, breathing heavily as her chest rose and fell. The gun at her side, watching as Melody squirmed in pain.
It didn't please her to do this, nor did it satisfy her. There was no chance in this world she would choose a stranger over her own father.
"Please, God please!" She cries, the blood beginning to puddle under her body. Soaking into the blanket she had used to wrap her naked body, once brown now turned a dark shade of red.
The pleas were gut wrenching to anyone else, but not her. There was no feeling of emotion, there was no need to. If she shared any sort of remorse or sympathy for the young woman, her father would have his head on a stake.
Melody had to be a sacrifice, that was all she had to see it as. Not a person, just a figure whose only purpose was to die. That's how she would get through it, that's how she would pull the trigger.
That sliver of humanity fizzles in a moment, her gun raising to aim at the back of Melody's head. With a deep breath, she cocks it. "Sag Satan, dass ich hallo gesagt habe." Her voice is like venom, rough as it hisses against her lips.
