Chapter 58 - Too Close For Cheating.

9:00 A.M (EST)

"Goodmorning, Angel."

The bright sun was blazing through the curtains, shining into the already brightly lit room. There they laid in bed together, covered in the marks of their endeavors. Hickeys, scratches, covering any sort of skin that could be shown. Both in nothing but their undergarments, completely exposed to each other.

Melody's voice rings in Amelia's ears, beginning to stretch as she wakes up to fully speak to her. With her hands rubbing at her eyes, her vision clears to see Melody. She's hoisted up by one arm, staring down at her with a happy stare in her eyes. The light smile pursed over her lips, feeling the warmth of her fingertips running through her hair.

Amelia snickers, sitting herself. "Good morning definitely, wild night too."

"I never knew how rough you were." Melody says, continuing to run her fingers gently through Amelia's hair. Leaning closer to her, humming against her words.

The events of the night truly had an impact on Melody, perfect for Amelia. Having now slept with Melody, it gave her more openings to get information from her. She already knew Leo's marriage was falling apart, she had to use that in some way for her plans to get rid of him.

Amelia places her hand on Melody's cheek in which she immediately leans into. " First time for everything.. Especially what I had in store with you."

Melody truly seemed to trust Amelia even after knowing her for such a short time. It had been mere days, and yet here they were. Messy in Melody's bed together, covered in marks from each other's teeth. Weakness in their legs, adrenaline still yet subsided from the other's actions. Seduction was always something Amelia had been good at, it did not fail her yet.

There's a chuckle that leaves her lips, before leaning in to kiss Melody slowly. The kiss feels passionate on Melody's end, in which Amelia begins to quickly mimic. The younger woman puts herself stranded on top of Amelia. Her hands pressed up on Melody's waist, holding onto her with gentle touch.

Amelia's lips disconnect from Melody's, latching onto her neck. Kissing down her throat, even over the hickeys that were still forming and in multiple stages of healing. She could hear Melody's sighs of pleasure as her kisses trail down her skin.

"We're going again? You really are full of energy.." Amelia chuckles against her neck at Melody's words, hands rubbing on her sides.

Amelia pulls back, shooting Melody a cocky wink. "Find out." She purrs, before going back to kiss her neck.

Clearly the tension was growing between them once more. Touching on each other's bodies, kissing on the parts that had already been marked. If Amelia had to sleep with Melody countless times to get deeper into her life, she would do it. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her father, to protect his life.

Sex was a known factor in her life, but conenction was something she could reserve. She had kept it locked away tight for so long, until Dallas. Now being apart from him, feeling they had grown so far apart– That intimacy seemed far gone. Who knew what Dallas was doing back in California.

If he was looking for her, he would be worried out of his mind. His injured woman had disappeared when his back was turned, disobeying what he had asked her to do– Rest. No clue of where she had run off to, no idea of how to find her. Yet her father had told her something was now wrong with the man she loved. She felt it too, but she didn't want it to be true.

Having hunches like this never turned out to be anything good, yet they always seemed to come true. Jake Parker being alive, Dallas becoming somewhat of a stranger. One had already become too true for her to ignore, she did not need anything else going wrong in her life. Dallas had always been her rock, the man who taught her everything she knew.

How could she live her life without him– Have everything changed in an instant? It wasn't something she needed to be thinking of now, not with another person's hands touching all over her body.

She feels the pull of her face up to Melody, being pulled into a kiss almost instantly. Amelia kisses back, groaning into Melody's mouth as their tongues struggle against one another. The heat between them growing, the rushing of heartbeats increasing. Everything was rising to a peak, to start the main event.

"Honey! I'm home!"

Both of their eyes seem to bulge out of their heads at the sound of an all too familiar voice. Leo had returned home, Melody immediately pushing Amelia off of her with a large shove. Amelia quickly recovers from the forceful action, hopping off of the bed in.

Melody shoos her with her hand, a clear look of panic stretched across her face. "Run to your room, quickly you'll make it!"

Amelia nods, quickly shuffling herself out of Melody's room and into the hallway. She could hear the footsteps of Leo sprawled around the house, however she wasn't able to pinpoint exactly where he was. As long as she couldn't see him, he couldn't see her. Keeping her steps light as she runs, she reaches her room.

The door opens with ease, no sound of creaking hinges as it is opened and swung shut. Once she is safely in the room, Amelia presses herself against the door. Stopping for a moment, staring off to the window half opened.

What had she become, doing something like this?

Sleeping with a married woman, ruining a marriage to then kill one of the parties off. Ruining a life, taking a life. Their lives after meeting her would never be the same–The blood curse following swiftly behind her once more. Only this time it would be by her own hands, still all the more her fault. If she wasn't alive, there would be no damage to anyone.

People would be alive, growing old and living their lives. There would be no chaos, no destruction, no death. Ending it all now would do nothing, yet she wished she had never begun. Being born into a doomed world, a doomed pathway. Amelia truly had no chance at another type of life, a normal life.

Her mother was far from normal, there was no way she was going to be able to stray away from that path. Whether she was a criminal or an agent. Trouble and death followed with every step.

It should not bother her so much, to dispose of someone who wasted their life with crime. Leo had ruined her life in so many ways, he could have helped her. They both could have helped one another to escape a life of death, misery, despair. No one could have died in their wake, no one would have been harmed in their view. Yet he chose to stay with the herd, following her grandfather until the bitter end.

He ran before he could see the damage her own grandfather had done to her life, Leo was a coward. All of them were cowards, every last one of them. Bringing innocent people into their monstrous affairs, only to have lives cut short from their own hands. Blood all over their skin, smiles stretched across their lips. Laughing in the despair of families, of lives being broken.

Amelia was just as bad in so many aspects. Running, she ran away just like the others. Trying her hardest to get away from the troubles of her past, looking towards a brighter future. Perhaps that was what Leo had been doing, all this time. A best chance at a normal life, with new people who knew nothing of his past. Having the time spent to cover it up entirely.

They weren't so different after all, and that was the gut wrenching thing. How could she kill a man who had so many aspects she had done herself– How was she any better than him.

She wasn't, and she knew that deep down. Pushing down the feeling of remorse, for the image of life saved. Charlie had to live, there was no debate on what she was going to continue to do. No matter how awful it may make her, or how much blood may spread on her hand.

The guilty could sink in once the deed was done, for now she had to hold the gun between her hands. Only to pull the trigger, and run once more.
