Calliope blushed and turned her head away, making him smile widely.

Calliope turned her head to find Amadeo sitting in the living room while Samuel was rubbing his head against his uninjured leg.
"Baby, how did you come down?" Calliope immediately asked.
Amadeo pointed at the new housekeeper that she had hired.
"Did you have breakfast?" Calliope asked.
Amadeo nodded his head. "Can you cook something good for me? I don't feel good."
"You don't feel good?" Calliope chuckled. What was this excuse, "What do you want to eat?"
"Mama, I miss food cooked by you," Amadeo said in a small voice. "I want to eat meatballs and spaghetti made by you. Nothing fancy. Or can we have lasagna for lunch?"
