"Mama, you look so pretty," Amadeo said with a wide smile as he glanced at her dolled up the mother as she descended the stairs.
"Thank you for your compliment," Calliope smiled and kissed his forehead. "I'm scared, son. But I will try to be brave this time. This is my promise to you."
Amadeo hugged her. "I know my mom is the strongest woman in the world." Looking up at her, he added, "Now you should leave. I promise to take care of me in your absence."
"Amadeo, if you want to go out, first inform shadow guards. Don't sneak out in my absence and don't take your safety lightly or I will be worried," Calliope said in strict words.
"I promise no mischief," Amdeo pinched his throat. "Or you can drop me at Miss Percy's house. She had asked me to tell you that she can take care of me if you are not home. I forgot to inform you."
