Chapter 20 - CHAPTER 19

"Aren't you too busy, Your Majesty?" Lin Lin asked to hope that she could soon walk around the city alone.

"Not really. For a few days I have time to rest," said the crown prince.

Lin Lin, who heard that in her heart, became gloomy. It's inconvenient to talk to someone of a higher rank than us. It would be awkward.

"Erm, Your Majesty, thank you for this meal. Let me say goodbye now," said Lin Lin.

"What is it? Is Miss currently busy?" asked the crown prince.

"Uh, not really. But I'm currently going for a walk," said Lin Lin.

"Then let me accompany you," said the crown prince.

"But your highness, don't you feel uncomfortable walking around with this lowly noble lady?" Lin Lin asked, looking for an excuse to be alone.

"Who knows. I feel comfortable around you," said the crown prince.

"Eh?" Lin Lin was shocked.

"Wait a minute. Please don't misunderstand first. I just feel close to the lady like with my younger siblings. That's what I wanted to say," said the crown prince quickly to avoid misunderstandings.

"I see," Lin Lin muttered as she nodded her head.

"Very well, Your Majesty. I understand," said Lin Lin.

"Thank goodness you didn't misunderstand what I said. If it's other noble girls usually they will often misunderstand," said the crown prince.

"Surely your highness. I'm different from the others," Lin Lin smugly joked.

"Yeah alright, come on," said the crown prince to Lin Lin.

"Guang, follow me from the shadows," the crown prince ordered Guang.

"Yes, your highness," said Guang, then suddenly disappeared.

The crown prince put 2 gold coins on the table and closed his eyes.

The crown prince's face that was once very handsome now changed. His handsomeness has decreased even though it is in the handsome standard.

Lin Lin also started to wear her veil and raised the hood of her robes.

"Miss, don't hesitate on me. Just call me Ling Zheng Jue," said the crown prince

"Then Zheng Jue, you also don't need to call me miss. Just call me Lin Lin," said Lin Lin with a smile.

They both walked away from the diner.

"Lin Lin, where do you want to go?" Zheng Jue asked who was confused because they were walking around the streets without knowing their destination all this time. It's like a chick that has lost its mother.

"Hm, I don't know, I'm also confused," said Lin Lin, ending with a grin behind her veil.

Zheng Jue lightly hit Lin Lin's head.

"Seriously, we've spent a lot of time just wandering around aimlessly, Lin Lin," Zheng Jue said emphatically as he held back his anger.

Zheng Jue regretted asking Lin Lin to go around together. However, in reality, he wasn't sorry. At least he can be freed from his heavy-duty as crown prince.

"Your highness-you-young master!" Someone shouted from behind Lin Lin and Zheng Jue.

Zheng Jue turned back, feeling that he recognized the voice.

I have seen a man in black clothes, like a personal bodyguard.

"What is it that you're in such a hurry Jing?" Ask Zheng Jue

Jing is the personal bodyguard of the first Princess, the younger sister of the crown prince.

Indeed, all members of the royal family and bodyguards knew about the crown prince's habit of traveling around wearing a disguised face when his holiday arrived.

"Your Highness Princess… Hah…hah…hosh…hosh…."

Jing is currently very tired because he has been busy running in the middle of the market to look for the crown prince.

"Breathe first. Inhale exhale. Slow down," said Lin Lin, who immediately reacted.

Jing immediately followed the instructions given by this veiled person in front of him.

"Now tell me what is it?" Zheng Jue asked as he felt Jing was starting to feel better.

"Your Highness the princess is currently sick. She suddenly fell unconscious while eating with the noble ladies. The royal physician said that he did not know the symptoms of the princess' illness. But suddenly concubine Rong brought a healer named healer Zhang. She said that the princess was in serious illness and needed a light essence flower," said Jing.

Zheng Jue stiffened hearing that. The first daughter is a quiet girl and rarely talks. Its nature is complicated to predict.

"Hurry to the palace," Zheng Jue ordered.

Zheng Jue then turned to face Lin Lin.

"Sorry Lin Lin, I think you should go around on your own now," Zheng Jue said to Lin Lin.

Zheng Jue immediately went to the palace with Jing and Guang using his body lightening skills.

"Tch hasn't been answered yet, just play away. It's rude you know," Lin Lin muttered under her breath.

"But it's strange, the palace healer should be the best healer in this empire but how come he doesn't know anything," Lin Lin muttered quietly.

"There must be something wrong here, I have to confirm," Lin Lin muttered.

"Hehe my meddling nature appears," said Lin Lin with a chuckle.

Lin Lin started chasing after Zheng Jue using her body lightening skills.

Zheng Jue, Jing, and Guang were anxiously heading towards the palace. Even Zheng Jue himself was currently muttering in his heart, hoping that his younger sister would be okay.

Wussh

Suddenly a figure in a covered robe appeared before the three of them. They were making their movements stop and stare at the robed figure.

The robed figure began to open its hood. A girl's face was seen wearing a veil. Zheng Jue knew who it was. They just separated a while ago.

"Lin Lin?" Zheng Jue said small.

"Yes, it's me," said Lin Lin with a smile behind her veil.

"Is there something?" Zheng Jue asked.

Despite his calm tone, he was worried about his little sister right now.

"Don't you find it strange, Zheng Jue?" Lin Lin asked.

"What do you mean Lin Lin? Please get straight to the point," said Zheng Jue.

"Relax, there's no need to rush. Don't you find it strange why the royal physician who is supposed to be the best healer in the empire doesn't know about the princess' illness? And even a healer with no clear origins knows it? Moreover, the healer was brought by concubine Rong," said Lin Lin.

"You mean…" Zheng Jue stopped his words for a moment, after which he started to stare at Lin Lin with wide, glaring eyes.
