Kendall stared at lady Erie's bloody body. She could tell she wasn't dead, but also seemed like she was running out of time. Lucky for them, the spear wasn't a divine weapon, or else she would be dead already. The only thought that was running through her mind was how was this possible? She had heard the news of how powerful Erie was and this fight looked like it was going to turn out as child's play on her terms.
She peered at the sky and Identified the demon that had just taken down Erie was still floating in the sky laughing at the top of his voice like he had acquired pure victory. Angered by his annoying laugh, Kendall summoned her staff forcefully with the little magical energy she had left in her body. She needed to protect Erie at all costs because Elrond would want to deliver the final blow and finish off this sanctum's grandmaster.
