Erie stared at the two of them with her face showing no emotion. Kendall shuddered, "What is it, Lady Valentine?" she asked with a shaky voice showing how uneasy this place felt for someone like her. Jordan on the other hand felt nothing, to him, he was looking at a woman in a very fancy-fashioned dress as if it was the seventies.
"You're well aware that there is a war coming and that it will determine the fate of this world along with the rest of the multiverse?"
"Yes…I…I mean…we…yes we are, and we are doing our best to stop it before it happens," Kendall said while using a low and humble tone to continue showing her great respect for the grand-master standing before her. She may look human but her presence couldn't fool anyone, this woman was in her own league of magic and Kendall had to respect that.
