"Wait, you what?!" They were both shocked by his words considering how proud he was when he talked about his powers. Had he accepted defeat just for show or had Scarlet's last attack done a huge number on him?
"Did we just win?" Erica mumbled trying to process the situation as they both continued staring at the dragon king.
Scarlet nodded and smiled, "Yes we have." She then tried walking but she staggered forward and landed in Erica's hands instead. It looked her muscles had given up after her last attack, she pushed them past their normal limits.
"Are you going to be fine?" Erica asked with a weary look on her face, they had strangely bonded over the past few days and it was a no brainier that she was worried about her current condition.
"I'll be fine, I'll heal myself when I recover my magical energy…"
