Alex drew a sharp breath of air as they all ran through the thick forest, she was running short of breath as both she and Jack fought to keep up with Lucas and Rel, the duo was extremely fast for normal humans to a point where they couldn't even see their feet.
They had managed to escape the park into a nearby forest that Lucas had claimed to be the way to the Library. The forest was completely dark but thanks to their adaptive eyes it wasn't going to be a problem for them. Lucas had mentioned something about the library having a protection circle around it that wouldn't let anyone in or out, but he had managed to go through a while back when he summoned a creature that could break through magic shields easily though when he reached the entrance the magic was so complex and beyond his field of knowledge.
