Scarlet and Miranda both appeared in the lobby of the Magisterium sanctum in Brooklyn. It was always busy so the entire lobby was packed with all kinds of people. Scarlet felt like she was walking in a fantasy novel each time she was there, the air felt different and purer from the inside because of the magic shield covering the place.
Miranda also looked around with eyes shimmering with stars as she couldn't believe what she was looking at. The metal statues of dragons and griffins all moved as if they were alive themselves, but that was just for display purposes and they couldn't attack or do anything further than that. The Magisterium was the only place in the world where humans and elves worked in harmony, it had grown bigger and was now helping keep balance in other worlds.
