Katherine was standing next to Oblivion. He was still on the bed, but all the life support had been removed thanks to the small healing factor he had inherited from taking over Argus' body. He had woken up just in time for the creed and Invictus' plan to recover Scarlet and then the infinity cube.
He felt more alive than he was in the previous body, it had grown weak from old age and was beginning to whither because it was human. And though this body was still human, it was incredibly connected to the lanes and it gave him the ability to manifest and control fire.
"I want to walk outside, and see what this world looks like," he demanded, looking at Katherine.
"Do you mind having this walk with me?" he asked gently
"The pleasure is mine, my lord."
