Savira intends to travel to Jessy's kingdom and of course, asks James for permission first because otherwise, it's useless, if Savira arrives there then James invites her to go back home.
Yes, from now on James was superfluous, even after dinner Jessy was ordered to be sent home even though King Edward indirectly brought his wife home, but still, James did not forbid or offer to stay longer in his palace.
