It took five seconds for the giant to regenerate fully and start running towards Lorn. Yara had summoned two more shields and was trying to intercept its dash, but the giant was unstoppable. Perhaps it had something to do with the new eyeball, but its strength and speed were substantially higher than before. With its large gait, it wasn't going to take it long to reach Lorn.
Lorn didn't panic, though, and used Motor-skill Manipulation. The giant's left leg suddenly went stiff, and it stumbled onto the snow. It took a second for it to get up on its feet and resume its dash.
When it was just reaching its near maximum speed, Lorn induced a powerful Lapse on it. The giant faltered and made a comic dive into the snow.
'9, 10, 11…'
The giant's foggy eyes regained its bloodthirsty shine, and it stood up once more.
