An hour passed, and Lorn was in peak status once again.
The arena staff informed him of the upcoming match, so he went to his corner and prepared to walk out. On the way, he sneaked a peek at audience. There seemed to be even more people watching. While Lorn was waiting, the arena managers managed to sneak in two other fights to keep the people around.
"You're up," the same staff member declared.
Lorn nodded and walked through the door. There were the cheers and up somewhere, the commentator was talking about how this was the first fight between Undying in the D-rank. But Lorn's eyes were stuck on Elan.
The man oozed confidence. Like always. Before, Lorn had trouble dealing with him. He had no advantages over him. He had no money and he had no power to trample over him. Elan did everything in his power to nullify Lorn's only advantage, his intelligence. Lorn was constantly put in situations with no real solutions.
