Chapter 43 - Nao

I rushed after him and pinned him down with my sword. "Why are you doing this!" he yelled. I looked at him disgusted. "You killed my mother you fucking bastard" I said pushing the sword down his leg. "Who is your mother?" he wheezed.

"Persephone" I said. His face dropped and he looked stunned. "Now you know!" I yelled taking out my sword. "It... wasn't me who killed her" he said crawling away.

"Then who was it?" I said as i pinned his other leg to the dirt. I planned to enjoy watching him slowly die. He turned back and said, "It was, Zeus!" he yelled. I stopped and thought. Why would Zeus help me then. "Why would he do that?" I asked pulling my sword out.

"He is possessed by Uranus' will and now only cares about entertainment and power, he believes that love is weakness and wanted to make you stronger since you were prophesized by the oracle" he said.

"Why did my mother say my uncle killed her?" I said preparing to put my sword in his right arm. "Zeus forced his son Herma to write that!" he yelled raising his hand. I stopped again. Herma somehow could appear somewhere randomly so it was plausible but that meant that I had done this all for no reason. I looked outside at the destruction. I couldn't save him either. It was too late take it back. Despite me telling them not to, my soldiers were killing Civilians. I ran down the stairs. I would at least kill Zeus. I could still see the mansion and jumped over the fence. I'd been tricked by Herma too but catching him would be near impossible.

I spotted them on top of the roof and climbed up. Zeus and many other Gods were there eating. "Have you found the truth?" he said, "It far too late to change your fate though". I raised my sword but felt a sharp pain in my forearm. I turned back and saw it was one of my soldiers. "Sorry, I can't control my arms!" he yelled. It was that evil peace of shit. I took out my knife and rushed towards him. I felt something pierce my stomach and realised it was another arrow but it was from Apollo. I fell back off the building and was carried by my soldiers. I couldn't move and bled out. I could only watch as a crack opened in the floor and the three headed dog came out. I lost hope and realised I was going to die. Perhaps I'd end up in the history books. I was thrown into it's jaws.
