As I began to lose hope, the door slid open. Delaever lifted me up and dragged me, "We'll find you guitar then leave" he whispered. We ran past the corner and there it was. The guitar sat in front of the door. I snatched it and caught glimpse of the inside of the other room. In the centre was a pot which emanated a green aura. I ran back and we sprinted down the halls then down the stairs. Some security guards came. I slid down the railing and kicked him which made enough space for us to run. Delaivaer picked up his gun and I heard a gun shot. I turned back and looked at the man as he struggled through his last breaths. "What did you do!" I screamed. He just killed someone. He looked at me confused, "He would've shot us if not" he said running down the next set. I stopped. "You didn't have to kill him".
"Yes I did!" he shouted angrily. I turned back and kneeled in front of him. I performed a prayer. If he died, at least he died honourably. I'd decided. I didn't wanna stay with him anymore. Why would I trust him, a killer. More shots fired off. As I went down the stairs, a monster burst through the wall. I backed away. It roared ferociously. I covered my ears and ran. Why, why, why was this happening to me! Do I deserve this. No, I don't, I haven't done anything.
I ran up and across the corridor. I looked back and the creature was charging at me. It hit me and smashed me through the window. I don't wanna lose myself. I sank through the sky. This was the end for me. I stared off into the sunset and smiled then I passed out.
I woke up in a green sea. In the sun's place, was Han. He stared deep into my eyes. Beneath him, lied dead giants but as I turned around, I saw a giant woman. She walked towards him then reached out and caressed him. He began to break down and as his tears made contact with the sea, it was purified but in return, she began to crumble until she fell into the sea.
I awoke in a lake. Besides me Han laid down, staring into the sky just like the first time we met. "Boy what is your name?" He asked getting up. I shook my head.
"I..DON'T...KNOW!" I shouted. He turned back and reached out his hand to me.
"Lets find your mom Taragmenos". I took his hand and got up. I was Taragmenos and thus, a year and a half passed by. Me and Han crossed into the continent of Cascada. We settled down for a bit and got money by guiding people from Cascada and Mendar (The previous continent) and also by playing songs for people.
I and Han prepared for another hike. It was for some rich man and his sister who had to go on a buisness job. I was a bit confused as to why he didn't hire a private guard team. "Hey are you ready?" I asked knocking on his front door. I heard some rustling come from his tent so I knocked again. He came through with his sister latched onto his back like a child even though she looked about my age. "Let's go, Taragmenos" he said looking into my eyes. It seemed familiar. Like someone I'd known. Before I could remember, he began walking, "Hey let's go".
We climbed the icy mountains and reached the border's wall. He gave the guard his I.D and I noticed that his name started with D, just like him. I and Han handed them in. Han had picked up a sword and said it reminded him of something but promised not to kill anyone, promised to himself. We went through the halls and as we neared the end, a woman with wings burst through. As the dust cleared I caught glimpse of her bird legs. She screamed, "Don't look at me!". She charged at us but Han raised his sword in time. He sliced her leg as I told the rich man to go near the guards. Suddenly behind us another came, carrying the heads of the two guards. She pulled her fist back and launched it at me. I managed to escape by the skin of my teeth and took out my dagger. They weren't human so why should I spare them. I threw my bag as a distraction and as she kicked it away I stabbed her in the heart. Her eyes disappeared and where replaced by the souls of the dead, like the lake. I cut off her head and inspected it. This time all where screaming. Suddenly my world began to spin and I heard voices saying, "Hades shall punish those whom oppose him". Suddenly it stopped. I dropped the Harpies' head. What a bunch of bullshit. Hades didn't even exist so why were the Harpies here.
"Let's continue now" said the man. I was confused as to how he remained calm, after all he'd just seen a beast. Well why was I calm, this was my second time. By the time the sun fell, we'd reached his destination. "Bye, boy" he said turning away. I froze, the only person who'd call me that was, "Delaever". He turned around and smiled,
"It took you long, all I did was grow a little facial hair and change my hairstyle". I scowled. Why the fuck did me hire me knowing that I'd hate him. "Oi, how did you become rich?" I asked. That was the only question I had to ask. "Being broke did something to my spirit so I tried hard and with some luck, I made it" he said full of pride. I could tell that he was lying. Buisness wasn't that easy. Me and Han tried so hard for a year and so but we barely managed to scrape by.
