"The diamonds are too big," he said flatly"
"Oh…. I'm not good at choosing jewelry, you choose." Dili put the ring down with a broken heart heart
Choose to look at the watch.
Clarissa saw Dili get up from her seat towards the table with dozens of watches Clarissa didn't care she went back to choosing jewelry.
Several small boxes had been selected, Dili brought them while Clarissa walked coldly when what Dili hoped for was the woman's hand on her elbow. "Have you bought some for your mother?"
"Mm..."
"Good, shall we eat? I haven't eaten since morning."
"What are you doing? To skip breakfast."
Dili coughed. It caught Clarissa's attention but she returned unconcerned.
The two of them had lunch together nothing much to talk about. The slices of meat were left just like that.
At another place.
A suit that was neatly attached to a tall body with a firm face had just stepped out of his car. Welcoming those who have been waiting for this meeting for a profitable agreement. Everyone looked down as Rex got out of his car.
"Please Mr. Rexford. Let's go straight to the meeting room." The trip in the lobby room attracted every pair of eyes that passed, the group that Rex brought started from two male and female secretaries who had different tasks as well as advisors he might need in the middle of a meeting.
The meeting was tense with every intonation of words Rex said.
"12% of what has been achieved." Rex knocked on the table from the obvious word he objected.
"In the future I recommend a more heterogeneous investment. I ask for complete control!" said Rex again firmly.
"That can't be, you and Mr. Mackenzie have gotten a balance," replied his businessman.
"Tell me what percentage of my father's profit?" Rex's sharp gaze drew the person who was now in front of him. With an erratic heartbeat, the Mackenzie fell silent.
Rex didn't like rambling at all. Rex got up from his seat. "I won't agree to a deal, if what I want can't be fulfilled. Tell Mackenzie that!"
Gosh, how could this father and son disagree. The last meeting that was held with Mackenzie's ranks had agreed, why now it can change just because of a slight difference. Rex returned to his study and sat in his swivel chair.
The blue sky began to darken showing the stars above the mega. His assistant came in. Bringing documents as well as a report that Rex never asked for but he listened to.
"Miss Clarissa, choosing a wedding ring this afternoon," he said, looking down. Who does not know the story of the love triangle between two young masters.
All women will feel very proud if she can be liked by two well-established men almost perfectly from various aspects, only what makes this story tragic is.
The two young masters were different mothers.
Rex was still signing the file he had brought with him his face looked blank he and Clarissa were in the past.
"Would you like to know that Miss Clarissa made the ring?" His assistant continued the report.
Rex raised his head. Then threw the file he had finished signing in front of his assistant.
The worker looked down, no longer daring to continue his report. Then decided to resign without seeing Rex's face
Why the past had to come up, all because Clarissa made a scene in their one-night love affair. And the woman stupidly accepted an arranged marriage with Dili. Until finally everyone thought there was an unfinished story.

The door to Clarissa's house had just opened, the items that had been bought were immediately taken over by the maid in black and white uniform, bowing respectfully. "Bring it to my room!" he said.
"Very well, young lady." The maid walked into Clarissa's room.
From inside the living room, a woman with well-groomed hair came out with a big smile. "You guys have arrived, how about it? Have you chosen the ring?" Clarissa's mother asked as she hugged Dili.
"How are you?" he asked. Regardless of Clarissa's gaze at the two it wasn't Clarissa that was asked but the man full of treasure.
Clarissa chose to sit down.
"I'm fine. Ahh… I just found a necklace that fits mom." Dili gave a small ivory handbag to Clarissa's mother.
"Oh my…. You are indeed a wonderful daughter-in-law. Lucky Clara can be loved by you. 'Isn't that Clara?" Her mother saw her daughter. It was not wrong that he chose Dili over Rex for his son-in-law.
"Come on, I'll put mom on." Dili opened the handbag.
"Oh… Gosh." Dili helped open the jewelry box.
Clarissa's mother couldn't keep her mouth shut, amazed by the diamond necklace she just got.
Dili helped put the necklace on. "How? Is it pretty on my neck?" she asked as she touched the necklace, also smiling.
"Mother looks prettier," said Dili Clarissa looking embarrassed. Meanwhile, Dili ignored the woman's gaze which would soon be his and beat Rex with everything he had.
After Clarissa's mother left, Dili followed the woman into her room. Clarissa didn't like Dili following her but apparently the man insisted, Clarissa finally let her in then she sat on her bed.
"I'm going to take a shower, can you wait outside?" Clarissa opened the door to let Dili out.
"Don't be old we're getting married soon, mom won't mind seeing you take a shower either." Dili said with a temptation to lie down on the bed, making the woman even more annoyed.
This marriage is only an arranged marriage, don't expect Clarisa to give herself to Dili.
"Okay, stay in this room." Clarissa snorted then entered by slamming the bathroom door. Dili, who received this response, seemed to be immune by itself.
It's true that there is no need to be influenced by Clarisa's attitude in the end, she will still be his. Dili just chuckled on Clarissa's bed considering whether she should come in
