Hope's POV

" Dani? is that you ? what are you doing here?"
I heard a voice which I was unfamiliar with but still with some recognition, I turn around and saw a boy same of my age.
It was him, I didn't think that i would found him here of all places.but I don't think he have any idea about me.
He was watching me intensely and I would've blushed if not for this situation.who is this dani ?? I'm kinda angry,here I am waiting and searching for this idiot all my life and he's with someone living his life.
"y-your're not dani !! are you?
are you Hope??Hope mikaelson??" he asks with some tremor in his voice.
This time it's my turn to be shocked. How did he know my name. I'm happy atleast he knows me but who doesn't know mikaelsons. Does that mean he knew about me but still didn't try to find me. Does he not want to meet me? does he hate me ??
As I was rambling nervously in my mind suddenly my back of wrist start to burn and a tattoo of "A.L" appeared and hearing few grunts from him I think same is happening there.
I saw on his wrist there is now my initials "H.M"
,well atleast it is now confirmed that he is my mate.
He looked at me, he looks kinda happy which is honestly cute to see, my heart melted looking at his happy puppy face.
I now feel comfortable or more like complete. It is good that it is not like those fantasy novels I read in which when one meet their mate ,they immediately fall in love , have pure devotion or obsession towards each other and act like a married couple who knows each other for years.
It feels like my heart telling me that it will be nice to know and trust this person .
"Yes, I am Hope Mikaelson and you are ??" I asked with somewhat stoic face.
"Oh!!! I am Arthur Leywin, It is a pleasure to meet you." he replied as he regained his composure did a small bow.
"Pleasure is mine" I also did the same as I somewhat know etiquettes from my family.
Akward silence was the only thing between us as we stare at each other. He has this warm,gentle and happy expression that now I feel a little bad for talking rudely.
" So, you know what that mark at our wrist means, right?" he asked hopefully.
I nodded and replied normally "Yes"
He also nodded with a relieved expression.
"So, how are you here, and how I can remember you as whoever enters malivore, the outside world forgets about them but that's not the case with you " I asked with little curiosity seeping in my tone to know about him.
"I might have a theory for that but before that we should change places as to keep unwanted listeners away. shall we?" he asks with one hand forward towards me to take.
"how ? there is nothing here other than darkness" I questioned as I have been wondering for some time in this place and didn't see anything other than darkness. But I still trusted him, don't know why, maybe because of mate bond??.
He reaffirm his grip in my hand as I gave my hand in his, it feels quite warm and good.
He then click his fingers and our surroundings changed into a bright place with garden,a tree near a medium size house with swing on its branch .It looks nothing like that would tell we are in malivore or are we??
Seeing my suprise expression he starts to explains" This is my soul place ,here we are safe without any external interruption. It's better than out there."
I just nod. I don't know anymore. I'm just tired after all that happened in my life and being with him,I feel safe.It feels like I can let my guard down with him.
I think he saw my tired face so he quickly came near me but still at appropriate distance and worriedly asks "are you ok? how about take you some rest as we'll continue tomorrow and I will answer all your questions ? "
I feel warm seeing his worried face and just continue to nod as we entered the house. It is cozy to say atleast. it has a homey feeling if you know what I mean.
he brought me to a room which I think is guest room as there are two other doors . one is same as me while one door is pink in colour. with my wolf hearing I can hear someone's light breathing inside that room which mean they are sleeping. who are they?? [A/N-- Guess who??]
well, I can ask later,I enter the room after saying goodby to Arthur.
The room is normal as it should be with attached bathroom and a queen size bed . It looks cozy and with the fatigue I have accumulated this room looks like heaven. I just reach the bed and fall onto it, drifting to dreamland as exhaustion catch up to me .
Next Morning I open my eyes and ...
