"What trickery is this?" Megatron asked in shock and surprise as she grinned confidently as she radiated an aura of a leader.
"This is no trick, Megatron. It's the real deal. As long as I'm here, you won't lay a metal finger on my friends." She told him as she got into a battle stance as Megatron growled in anger.
"Destroy them!" Megatron ordered with a growl in his voice.
The Decepticons all start shooting at the Autobots. With her newly discovered powers, Emily creates earth shields to protect the Autobots with two punches against the ground. Optimus was able to get rid of Dreadwing and Skyquake at the same time to join the others as they watched in shock Emily fighting the cons using the ground below them.
"How does the kid do that?" Wheeljack asked in shock and surprise.
"Don't know. But I'm glad she's on our side." Bulkhead said with a surprise look in his optics.
"You can say that again." Cliffjumper said as he and Arcee glanced at each other with surprised looks.
"I can't believe Emily did this." Smokescreen said with his optics wide.
"That makes two of us." Arcee agreed with him as well as Bumblebee who whirred as Optimus was able to join them.
"What's our plan, Optimus?" Arcee asked as they watched Emily fend off some of the cons with her earth abilities.
"Take the mine. We cannot let the Decepticons take that Energon." Optimus said as he was in shock and shock when Emily appeared in a new form.
"Too late for that. Look!" Smokescreen exclaimed as he pointed at some cons who were escaping with the energon.
"The Cons are getting away with the Energon." Smokescreen said as Wheeljack narrowed his optics.
"Not if we can't help it. Let's go, Bulkhead." Wheeljack said as he took out his swords.
"Right behind you, Jackie." Bulkhead smirks and takes out his two mace as the two wreckers charge towards the Decepticons who are trying to escape with the energon.
"Pick up the pace. I don't want to have my paint job ruined." Knock Out told them only to yelp in shock when a stray shot almost hit him.
Bulkhead and Wheeljack both started shooting at them when they were suddenly attacked by Breakdown and Starscream as they got into battle stance.
"You take the big guy while I settle things with old Screamy." Wheeljack told him.
"This ends here." Starscream sneered with a smirk as he readied his sharp talons.
"Time to smash some Bots." Breakdown smirk as he and Bulkhead had a stare down.
"You're going down." Bulkhead said before they both charge at each other with a battle cry.
Both Breakdown and Bulkhead started fighting while Wheeljack kept Starscream occupied as they both were exchanging attacks as Knock Out made sure to stay out of the fight to not risk his beloved paint job.
"Since you're busy, I think I'm gonna let you do your thing." Knock Out said only for someone to jump behind him.
"Not so fast." It was Smokescreen! Knock Out turned around and was surprised before smirking.
"Silly rookie. Did you think catching a Decepticon was gonna be that easy?" Knock Out said as he readied his saw as Smokescreen was getting aimed at by two Decepticon.
"Much easier than catching an Autobot." Smokescreen said with a grin since he knew that something was about to happen.
The two cons that were aiming at Smokescreen got taken down before Knock Out received a rear attack by Bumblebee and Arcee as he was sent flying to some Decepticons.
"Thanks for keeping him occupied." Arcee said as she put a servo on her hips.
"My pleasure. We better protect this Energon. Because I have a feeling that the Decepticons won't let us take it that easily." Smokescreen said as he made sure to keep his guard up as the others agreed.
"The kid has a point." Cliffjumper said.
"Then we must do what we can to protect this Energon." Arcee agreed as Bumblebee nodded.
Airachnid then shoots one of her web fluids to get Arcee's and the others' attention as they turn to her and immediately get into battle stances as she lands in front of them.
"I'm afraid that I'll have to take back this Energon." Airachnid hissed while she readied both of her claws with acid.
"Over my dead body." Arcee narrowed her optics at her with anger.
"I accept your condition." Airachnid hissed with deadly pleasure in her voice as the spider con and Arcee both started to attack each other.
While Arcee and the others are protecting the Energon from Airachnid, Emily is holding off some Decepticons with her newly discovered earth powers. She started controlling the earth around her with many moves. She was able to drive off some of Megatron's troops. When Megatron had no one else to protect him, she punched the ground to send a wave of stone edge that we're heading straight towards him but Dreadwing and Skyquake started shooting at it, saving their liege in the process.
"My liege, are you okay?" Dreadwing asked him.
"I'm fine. Destroy her." Megatron said as he ordered the two and made Emily tensed up before Optimus came towards them and stood in front of Emily protectively.
"Optimus." She muttered his name in surprise and awe as Optimus narrowed his optics at Megatron and Emily could have sworn that she heard a growl behind his battle mask.
"You won't touch this girl while I'm here, Megatron." Optimus narrowed his optics at him as Megatron sneered at him.
"Then you shall die with her." Megatron said as both Dreadwing and Skyquake charged towards the two of them.
"You take care of Dreadwing and Skyquake. I'll take care of Megatron." Optimus told Emily without giving her a glance as he charged towards Megatron.
He started to battle against him while Emily battled against both Dreadwing and Skyquake but it was proving a challenge.
"Let's see how you handle this." Emily said as she used her earth ability to grab two medium size boulders and threw them at both of the twins who received a hit but it wasn't enough to stop them as she took a small step back.
"Is that all you got?" Skyquake taunted her but she didn't let his taunt bother her as she got ready.
"Uh oh. Better think of something quick. I got an idea. What do you say we shake things up?" Emily grinned before she punched the ground so hard that it shook the ground but nothing major happened as she took a small nervous step back.
"That didn't work." Emily muttered to herself nervously.
"Hahaha. Foolish child. Did you really think your tricks would work against us?" Dreadwing taunted her as she narrowed her eyes at him.
A boulder started coming down due to the small tremor and Dreadwing saw it and couldn't believe it as he quickly got out of the way along with his twin. Emily jumps to avoid the boulder. That goes all the way down to the vertical wall and hits her no matter how she tries to avoid it.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!" Emily screamed out in pain and shock as the boulder sent her flying into the forest and a little far from the mine.
Optimus heard that and noticed just as Emily disappeared in the trees and got worried.
"Emily!" He shouted in worry as Megatron just laughed.
"Hahaha. You have lost the girl. Don't worry I'll make you join her soon enough." This angered Optimus as he glared at Megatron.
"Ahhhhh!!!" He let out an angry cry as he started to let out his anger on Megatron who was a little surprised by the sudden attacks.
While Optimus was letting out his anger at Megatron, both Wheeljack and Bulkhead were dealing with Breakdown and Starscream.
"Here I thought Megatron's second in command would fight better." Wheeljack taunted as he dodged another attack from Starscream.
"Hold still and I'll show you." Starscream sneered at him.
"No thanks." Wheeljack scoffed as he attacked back.
While Wheeljack is occupied with Starscream, Bulkhead was still fighting against Breakdown.
"How about I knock you out and go play with your friend again?" Breakdown mocked as he threw a punch at him but Bulkhead blocked it.
"Good luck trying to take down two Wreckers." Bulkhead smirked at him as he punched him as both Wheeljack and Bulkhead started to walk backwards while dodging their attacks.
Both Wheeljack and Bulkhead started to avoid their adversaries' attack, making them hit each other instead.
"Still got it." Wheeljack smirked triumphantly.
"We sure do." Bulkhead grinned as well.
Meanwhile Arcee, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Smokescreen were fighting Airachnid along with some Decepticons troops that aided her.
"Bet you got really scared back then. The thought of losing Cliffjumper again. I was so eager to kill him to make you suffer. But I think that killing you with my bare hands might be the best course of action. Don't worry I'll make sure Cliffjumper keeps you company in the Allspark." Airachnid hissed as she slashed at Arcee only for the femme to dodge it with a glare.
"It will never happen. Ahhhh!!!!" Arcee glared at her heatedly as she started to attack Airachnid with renewed strength.
Arcee starts using her side blades to drive off Airachnid while Cliffjumper and the others take care of the Decepticons but they suddenly start being outnumbered as all the Autobots start to back off. Even Optimus couldn't hold off Megatron anymore.
Meanwhile somewhere not far from the mine, Emily was getting back up painfully after being hit by a boulder as she rubbed her head as she felt a bump forming on her head.
"Ah man, that hurts." She hissed in pain before she noticed where she was and was shocked as she realized that the boulder had sent her flying away from the mine.
"Oh no, the others need my help." She stood back up and was about to run back to the mines to help her friends when the rocks around her started to move and both of her swords appeared in flashes of light.
They were both glowing with an intense light and the rock was being attracted by their light. Emily had an idea and it was a crazy one but maybe it could work. She had to give it a try to save her friends.
Meanwhile the Autobots were being shot to pieces as they were having a hard time holding their ground against them.
"Optimus, this isn't working. What do we do?" Arcee asked him as she was feeling exhausted and knew that they wouldn't be able to keep the fight up.
"I'm afraid we will have to destroy the mine." Optimus told her grimly as Smokescreen turned to him in shock and surprise. He's not suggesting that right?
"But, sir, we need this Energon. We can't give up like that." Smokescreen said and tried to change his mind.
"I'm afraid there's no other choice." Optimus said as he nodded to Wheeljack who sighed so much for getting something out of the battle.
"Guess this is it then." Wheeljack said as he took out one of his grenades.
Just as Wheeljack was about to throw his grenade in the air, a huge and terrifying roar was heard as it made everyone look up in surprise in the direction of the forest as the earth below them started to tremble as if something was approaching fast and whatever it was, it was getting closer. A huge creature made out of rocks jumped out from the treeline and came out of the woods as it let out a huge and loud roar that echoed in the whole area as everyone stared at it in shock and disbelief. What the heck is that?!
"It's a monster!" Starscream shouted in fear as his optics widened to the size of dinner plates.
"I think it's a giant!" Knock Out shouted with the same amount of fear and shock as he stared at the thing as well.
"I don't care what it is, shoot it down!" Megatron ordered as he was also shocked by the turn of events and the appearance of the creature.
The Decepticons all start shooting at that huge rock golem who's protecting the Autobots as they were in shock and surprise by this.
"Is this thing protecting us?" Arcee breathed in shock and awe.
"Looks like it." Cliffjumper said in awe.
"Where did it come from?" Smokescreen asked what was in their minds at the same time as Bumblebee whirred the same thing as well.
"Doesn't matter, he's on our side." Wheeljack smirked as he watched the huge earth golem defend them.
They then hear a loud yell behind them and when they turn around, they see a boulder coming from somewhere and much to their surprise and shock. It was Emily running on top of the boulder as she was smiling confidently while keeping her balance.
"Make way!" She yelled as the Autobots and some Decepticons got out of the way as Breakdown quickly tackled Airachnid out of the way when she froze.
Airachnid looked at Breakdown in surprise as he gave a small glare that said 'Don't fragge mention this to anyone' to her as she nodded.
Emily hit Knock Out with her boulder and he got down on the floor when suddenly a huge foot was about to step on him as he yelled out in shock and fear.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" He let out a loud yell.
The rock golem steps onto Knock Out, ruining his paint job and staining it with a lot of dirt in the process. He got back up and finds out to his horror what this giant made of rock the damage that it inflicted upon him
"My finish!" He yelled in dismay since he would seriously need to get his finish all cleaned up again and buffed.
"Stop whining and start running!" Starscream yelled at him.
Emily starts smashing a ton of Decepticons with her boulder along the way. Seeing how most of his troops were offline in action, Megatron decided to call for a retreat for now.
"Decepticons, retreat!" Megatron ordered his troops as they all started to transform and fly away or drive away.
Not wanting to let Megatron escape, Emily jumps before kicking the boulder at him but he stops it with one and single strong punch as it smashed into pieces as she landed on the ground.
"Your tricks might have worked today. But I assure you that the next time we meet, I will show you no mercy. I will destroy every last one of you." Megatron growled at her as she glared at him.
Megatron then transforms and leaves the place and they watch him fly away and from their sights.
"Yeah, that's right! You better fly, Megatron!" Wheeljack shouted after him as the Autobots all cheered their victory with the earth golem letting out a roar of victory.
"We did it!" Bulkhead cheered as both him and Wheeljack bump each other on their chest plates.
Everyone was happy that they had succeeded in taking control of the mine and all the Energon was theirs now as Emily walked up to them.
"This Energon is all ours." Smokescreen grinned as Bumblebee whirred and beeped excitedly in joy from their victory.
"Autobots, today we have fought hard and achieved a great victory. One, I'm afraid that won't last very long." Optimus said as Emily stood beside him as he looked down at her with a small smile as she smiled back.
"At least the Energon here will give us an advantage." Emily said as Bumblebee whirred and picked her up and caused her to let out a surprised laugh as Bumblebee hugged her as she patted his chest plate with a smile.
Optimus watches them with a smile before he starts using his comm-link to contact the base to inform them of their victory as the rock golem let out one final roar before starting to break and fall apart as the two swords of creation and destruction appeared from the piles of rocks. Emily grasps the two swords back once Bumblebee puts her back down as the two blades disappear in a quick flash of light.
"Optimus to base, do you read?" Optimus asked as Ratchet was quick to answer.
"Optimus, thank the Allspark you are okay." Optimus couldn't help but chuckle softly.
Back at the base, the others could hear laughter in the background as well as the soft chuckles of Optimus.
"Have you taken control of the mine?" He asked as he smiled at the sounds.
Everyone was standing by for Optimus to give an answer and his answer made them all cheer happily.
"We did." He said as Ratchet smiled before getting worried.
"Is Emily with you? Is she alright?" He asked worriedly as the kids got worried quickly.
"Oh man. What if she's hurt? What if she doesn't come back?" Miko asked worriedly as Jack shushed him to calm her down.
"Shh." He shushed her to calm her down as Optimus' second answer relieved them a lot.
"She's fine." He said as Emily's voice can be heard in the background.
"Yes!" Jack cheered.
"Alright!" Raf exclaimed happily as he hugged Bolty happily who chirped and squeaked happily.
"Whoooo-hoooooo!" Miko fist pumps the air happily.
"Thank Primus she's alright. I'm opening up a ground bridge to your coordinates." Ratchet sighed in relief and started to put the coordinates that he saw in the location to open up the ground bridge.
Back at the mine, the ground bridge portal opened up as the Autobots would be returning to base with the Energon as their prize.
"Time to pack it up and go home." Wheeljack smirked as they started to push the carts full of Energon crystals through the portal.
When Emily was about to enter the portal, she stopped walking and turned around. She could feel a strange yet familiar dark presence lurking around the area. She could not see it but she could feel it as it gave her the same sense of fear days ago. She snapped out of it as Optimus came to her side and looked down at her with concern in his optics.
"Emily?" He called her in concern as she blinked and looked up to him.
"Hmm? Oh I'm sorry. I just thought I heard something. Let's go." Emily reassured him as both of them entered the portal.
Unaware of them, the dark presence that she sensed was watching them leave mainly Emily as it watched her from the shadows with its deep purple eyes.
"Emily..." It hissed before it sank back in the shadows.
Back at the base, the Autobots had arrived back with the loot.
"Guess who's back with a lot of Energon?" Smokescreen said as he grinned with victory as Ratchet checked the amount of the energon and knew that it would last them for a long while.
"Hahaha. You did it." Ratchet smiled as he knew that it would take some time until all of it was processed into cubes.
"Told you it would work, Ratchet." Emily's voice was heard as it surprised them as she greeted them nicely.
They all turned to the portal and couldn't believe that she came back in one piece just like she promised as she smiled at them and Miko couldn't stop herself as she ran to her.
"You're back!" Miko exclaimed happily as she ran to Emily who opened her arms quickly as Miko hugged her as she hugged back.
Jack and Raf did the same as they both hugged her as the person that they consider a big sister stayed true to her promise.
"I'm okay, guys." She chuckled softly as she ruffed Raf's hair.
Miko, Raf and Jack pulled away from the hug and were amazed about how her suit had changed from the one earlier.
"Whoa... did your suit change?" Miko asked in surprise.
"Yeah. I guess it did." She nodded as she looked at her suit more.
"Nice look. Makes you look tough." Jack said as he punched her shoulder lightly as she smiled.
"Thanks. But I'm a bit confused though. Back at the mine, I was able to control the earth around me. Like I was an Earthbender in The Last Airbender." She said as she put a hand on her hips as Bolty rested on her shoulder as he was happy that his caretaker was back and is okay.
"You guys should've seen it. It was unbelievable." Smokescreen told Ratchet and the kids as he still was in shock by how they won due to Emily having some sort of earth manipulation.
"If it weren't for her, I wouldn't be here. The kid saved my life." Cliffjumper said as he smiled at Emily who smiled back.
"All of our lives, thanks to that giant rock creature." Wheeljack said with a smirk as the kids and Ratchet turned to him in surprise.
"Rock creature?" Miko asked in confusion and surprise.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you that I was able to create a golem made out of rocks with my two swords." Emily said with a sly smile as Bumblebee whirred and made motions with his servos to show how big the golem was as the kids were dumbfounded by that.
"That big?" Raf asked in shock and surprise as Bumblebee nodded.
"It was colossal." Bulkhead said as he felt like a scraplet compared to the giant rock golem.
"And terrifying. It made the Cons flee." Arcee added as she stood beside Cliffjumper.
"With that power, we will have the Decepticons on the run." Miko said with a grin as she would really have to see that in action one day.
"I'm afraid not. I could only use this power once. Now it's gone." Emily said as she sent an apologetic look to Miko with a smile when the Japanese girl whined in dismay.
"I'm glad that you came back and that you have discovered the functionality of the device I gave you." Ratchet said with a proud smile as Emily blinked at him in surprise by this.
"You mean the device would allow me to do that?" She asked to make sure she didn't misheard it.
"Why yes. The device made you adapt to your environment. It absorbed the ambient and created something that would allow you to control the element of said ambient." Ratchet explained to her as she could feel excitement rise in her.
"Sweet. So this means she can have super powers?" Miko asked as she turned to Ratchet who shrugged but nodded.
"You could say that." He said as Arcee turned to Emily with a smile.
"You did great out there. Thanks to you, we gained the Energon that we needed." She said as Emily smiled back happily while rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.
"Thanks." She replied shyly.
"Alright, everyone, time for your medical examination." Ratchet quickly turned to doctor mode as Wheeljack rolled his optics playfully.
"We're fine, doc." Wheeljack said, he didn't want a medical examination but one look from Emily convinced him.
"Come on, Uncle Jackie, you need to get checked. You've been through quite a lot today." Emily told him as he sighed but agreed with her.
"Okay, whatever. I'll just put our loot in the vault. You coming, Bulkhead?" Wheeljack asked the green wrecker who shook his helm politely since getting fixed up sounds nice.
"No thanks. I need to get patched up." He said as Wheeljack nodded in understanding.
"I'll go." Cliffjumper said.
"Me too." Smokescreen added, only for Optimus to stop him.
"Smokescreen, your help is appreciated. But you would be of great help if you let Ratchet examine you." Optimus told him as Smokescreen considered it before agreeing with him.
"Yes, sir." He nodded as he went to where the others were as Ratchet was quick to get started.
"Since Smokescreen can't go, we'll go with you, guys. We might be able to help you." Raf said as he came up to them.
"Good idea." Jack agreed with him.
"Let's go then. You coming, Ems?" Miko said before asking the blonde as she shook her head with a smile as she pointed to Ratchet who would need help.
"No thanks. I'll help Ratchet patch up the others. Uh, how do I return to normal?" Emily said before asking as she looked at her suit and the brooch.
"Press the center button like before." Ratchet told her without looking up as she did so.
The suit came back to her normal mode and not only that, the suit started entering back inside the brooch as she came out wearing the same clothes from earlier as she took the brooch off her chest and looked at it with a smile.
"I'm starting to love this suit. Well, time to work." She said before putting it in her pocket and walked over to the med bay to start helping Ratchet.
Meanwhile Wheeljack and the others were on their way to the Energon vault to store the energon in with the remaining ones as they talked about what happened earlier.
"I can't believe what I saw back there. Emily is getting better and better every day." Wheeljack said as he was looking forward to what new surprises Emily will bring out next.
"With her on our side, it won't be long before we rid this place of the Decepticons." Cliffjumper added as he knew that the war would be over soon.
"Yeah..." Miko said but trailed off as Jack turned to her in concern.
"You okay?" He asked in concern as Wheeljack sensed the distress coming from Miko and got concerned as well.
"What's wrong, kid?" Wheeljack asked as Miko shook her head to not worry them.
"Nothing." Miko said but Raf could tell that she wasn't okay.
"You seem worried." Raf said and his guess was right when Miko stayed silent before answering.
"Yeah... I am." She said as Jack put a hand to her shoulder.
"You don't need to worry, Miko. Everything will be okay from now on." Jack reassured her as she gave him a look.
"How do you know?" She asked sarcastically as Wheeljack decided to step in to comfort her.
"Think about it. We got our own mine. Nothing bad could happen." Wheeljack reassured her.
"Yeah. Plus Emily has new tricks." Cliffjumper added but that caused Miko to sigh softly.
"You're not still worried about Emily are you? You're the one who said that a suit could help her." Jack said as he had a hunch that she was still worried about that.
"I know and that's what scares me. This suit can protect her but I'm scared that Emily will take more risks and that she might get hurt even more." Miko said as she hugged her arm slightly as the others felt her uneasiness. Why didn't they think of it that way...?
"I... didn't think of that." Jack said with a frown as Raf looked worried.
"None of us did." Raf said.
"Look, kids, when it comes to fighting, everyone is bound to get hurt. Including us." Wheeljack told them as Wheeljack understood what they were talking about.
"Rest assured that nothing bad will happen to our friend. She's strong and she's ready to face anything." Cliffjumper said as Miko pursed her lips together and knew that the two were right.
"Yeah maybe you're right." Miko smiled at them as Wheeljack smiled back as he considered Miko a niece since Bulkhead cares for her like a daughter.
"Emily is lucky to have you as her friend. I bet she would appreciate your concerns." Wheeljack said as Miko smiled up to him.
"Thanks, Wheeljack. I needed that." She said as Wheeljack smirked happily at that.
"Anytime, kid." He told her as Cliffjumper smiled at that.
"Now come on. We need to take this Energon to the vault before Ratchet starts burning our audio receptors." Cliffjumper said then joked as it caused the kids to laugh.
"Lead the way." Jack said as he, Raf and Miko followed both mechs to the vault and chatted along the way.
Meanwhile Ratchet and Smokescreen were making sure that everyone was okay as Emily was helping to make sure to fix some of the scratches they got from the battle as Bulkhead asked the question ever since they saw Emily wearing the suit earlier.
"Hey, Ratchet. That suit that Emily was using. Was that your secret project?" Bulkhead asked him as he nodded but didn't look up from his work as he was fixing Bumblebee's dents.
"Yes." He said as Emily laughed slightly while the medic sent her a playful look.
"I was surprised when I found out about it." She said as Optimus looked at Ratchet with a smile as he was proud that Ratchet made something for Emily to help her in battles.
"You have done well, old friend. I'll be honored to have you at my side in future battles." Optimus said this to Ratchet before turning to Emily with a smile as he said this.
Emily starts blushing a bright pink at what Optimus said to her as she stuttered a little before clearing her throat as Smokescreen saw that she was still blushing and couldn't help but tease her.
"Someone is blushing." He teased her playfully and it made Emily feel more shy and embarrassed as she gave Smokescreen a small and playful glare.
"What? No, I'm not. I'm just feeling warm." She denied it with a pink blush on her cheeks as Arcee chuckled softly.
As much as she wanted to tease Emily of her crush with Optimus, she had to help her out as she sent Smokescreen a stern yet playful look.
"Leave her alone, Smokescreen." She told him as he just laughed but nodded as the others came back.
"Good news. The Energon is in the vault." Cliffjumper said.
"Looks like you've been through quite a fight. Just to get this Energon." Jack noted as he noticed the dents and other injuries they received from the battle.
"Well, it is our primary source of fuel." Arcee reminded him as Jack nodded.
"I must say, doc. Your work on that suit is a complete stroke of genius." Wheeljack commented as Ratchet looked at him.
"Wheeljack is right. I'm grateful for that. I can't believe you added hover skates. I was blown away when I found that out." Emily agreed with Wheeljack as Ratchet was feeling flattered but hides it with a proud look.
"This is just part of the many things that the suit can do." Ratchet told them proudly as Emily grinned happily.
"Can't wait to see what I can do next." She said as she was really looking forward to discover what the suit can dom
"Me neither. Just try to be careful." Miko said as she gave Emily a stern look while Emily and Jack with Raf gave her a pointed look.
"Says the one who never listens to what other people tell you to do." Emily countered as Miko gave her a playful look as Jack laughed.
"She's got you there." He said as Miko stuck her tongue out at him.
"Don't worry, Miko. I'll be careful." Emily said as Miko smiled up to her.
"You know what I think? That Ratchet is proud of his work." Smokescreen said as Ratchet spluttered and turned his helm away as Emily almost laughed when she sensed that Ratchet was feeling flattered and bashful as Optimus had a smile on his face plate.
"Yeah, well, I did surpass myself." Ratchet stuttered slightly as Bulkhead couldn't help but tease him.
"I think the doctor here is blushing." Bulkhead teased him as Ratchet tries to deny it.
"I am not blushing." Ratchet told him but Cliffjumper could tell that he was.
"Yes, you are." Cliffjumper teased him more as Bumblebee whirred in agreement as his shoulders were shaking as if he was laughing.
"Even Bumblebee says that you are. Come on just admit it, Ratchet." Smokescreen said but that did it. Ratchet drew a line when others crossed it, they'll get a wrench to the helm.
"You know, I've endured many things from you guys but this time you've crossed the line." Ratchet grabbed a Cybertronian size wrench as the others watched in amusement as the four gulped nervously at the sight.
"Uh oh. Run." Bulkhead said as the four of them took off running with Ratchet chasing after them and trying to hit their helms with the wrench in his servo while shouting threats to dismantle them as the others watched in amusement.
"Should we do something?" Miko asked as she started to laugh hysterically as she watched as she then started to record it all as Emily watched with an amused smirk.
"Nah, I think they can get out of this one." Emily said as she laughed at the sight.
"Think Ratchet will catch them?" Raf asked as he tried to stop his laughs but failed.
"I hope not." Jack said as he wiped a tear from laughing but he couldn't stop his other laughs.
"Glad I'm not them." Wheeljack said with an amused smirk.
"Yeah but if I were you, I would be careful." Arcee said with her arms crossed as she smirked at the sight in front of them.
Emily then takes out her brooch from her pocket to have a good look at it. When she examines it, she sees a symbol or insignia and it looks like that it was some sort of crest that formed the symbol of a mountain in a silver color.
"Hey, look at that. It's some sort of crest." Emily said as Jack, Raf and Miko went over to her to check it.
"More like an insignia." Jack said.
"It looks cool." Raf said as he pushed his glasses back.
"Whatever it is, I'll put it to good use against our enemies." Emily said as Miko spotted what looked like empty slots.
"What about those other spots?" Miko asked as she pointed to it as Emily noticed it too.
"Who knows? Maybe they're empty spots for future crests." Emily said as she put the brooch back in her pocket.
"You mean you can have new powers?" Miko asked in amazement as Emily shrugged.
"Well, Ratchet did say that the suit would allow me to adapt to my environment and control the element around it. So yeah, I guess I can obtain new powers." Emily said as Raf tilted his head curiously.
"Do you know what other power you can have?" He asked curiously.
"Not yet but we're about to find out soon enough. This is just the beginning of something great." Emily said as she was looking forward to what's in store for them in the future.
Three hours later after the Autobots were all patched up and after Ratchet gave up on chasing the four who noted to not cross the line that Ratchet drew, everything was peaceful and quiet as it was late in the evening. Both Wheeljack and Smokescreen went back to the mine with a couple of U.S military soldiers to guard the mine. The kids had just eaten the pizza Jack's mother had brought and were watching movies. Miko and Raf had fallen asleep in the middle of a movie called Boboiboy as Jack was still awake and checking on Emily's leg as he was hoping that it didn't get any worse when she went to fight the Decepticons.
"Let's see." He said as he unwrapped the bandage around her left leg only to gape in surprise.
"Whoa..." He gasped as his eyes widened in surprise and shock.
"What is it?" She asked in confusion.
"The wound has healed. It's just a faint scar now." Jack told her as he pointed to it as Emily looked at it and was shocked as well.
"How is it possible?" She asked in shock as Jack shrugged since he didn't know.
"I don't know. But hey, at least your leg is better than before." Jack told her as Emily smiled at him.
"Thanks. You should get some rest. You look tired." Emily noted as Jack let out a huge yawn.
"No kidding. What about you?" He asked as Emily picked up her sketch book.
"I'll be drawing for a while." She said as Jack looked at her sketchbook curiously.
"What are you drawing?" He asked her curiously as Emily gave it to him as he checked it.
"Are you drawing future looks for your suit?" He asked curiously as she nodded.
"Yeah. Just don't tell Miko." She said as she sent the sleeping 15 year old a small smile as she was snuggled against Raf in content.
"Your secret is safe with me. Good night." Jack said as he made a zipping motion with his hand and mouth and gave the sketch book back to her as she nodded.
"Good night." She said as Jack went to the TV and turned it off before going to the couch and sat down and fell asleep with Miko and Raf.
Emily went over to a desk that Jack brought one time before starting to draw a new one. She was still drawing when Bolty started climbing to her head as she looked up to him with a smile.
"Hey, buddy. How do you like it?" She asked as she showed him her drawing as Bolty squeaked and chirped saying that likes them as she giggled.
"Yeah I like them too." She said as Bolty reached the top of her head as he circled his usual spot and curled up and started to fall into recharge as Emily smiled up to him softly.
"Tired too huh? You rest. I'll be drawing." She told him as he let out what sounded like a purr as she continued to draw.
A few minutes later, she fell asleep on the desk while resting her head on her arms as Bolty was sleeping in her arms and snuggled to her face as Optimus walked in and saw that the kids were sleeping as he noticed that Emily was sleeping by the desk. Not wanting Emily to get cold, he took the blanket gingerly between his two digits and put it over her. She stirred a little and started to move slightly as if dreaming of something or someone as she snuggled in the blanket.
"Optimus..." She muttered his name sleepily as she fell back asleep.
Optimus heard Emily call his name in her sleep and was wondering what her dream was about but decided against waking her up. He watched her sleep for a bit more before he started to head back to his quarters to recharge for the night.
Meanwhile back at the Nemesis, the Decepticons were getting patched up after a hard battle as Knock Out was blaming Starscream for ruining his finish.
"What? You're blaming me for your ruined finish?" Starscream glared at him as Knock Out rolled his optics at him.
"Who else is there to blame? I'm not the one who got stuck to the ground and needed assistance." Knock Out reminded him of his little incident while he was glued to the ground earlier.
"Well, if you were a little more careful, maybe this never would've happened. After all it's your fault that we lost the Energon." Starscream sneered at him only for Knock Out to take out a sharp tool that scared the heck out of Starscream.
"If by dismantling you, it will teach you some manners." Knock Out said threateningly as Starscream started to panic.
"Wait! Stop! Forget what I said!" Starscream pleaded as Knock Out smirked in silent victory as he put the tool away.
"Relax, Starscream. I won't hurt you as much as I wish too." Knock Out said as Starscream rolled his optics at him as Knock Out continued to patch him up.
"As if you couldn't do anything with it." He sneered as Knock Out groaned silently at this.
Meanwhile Breakdown was patching up Airachnid much to his disgust and dismay as he complained about their defeat as Airachnid was staying silent for some reason.
"I can't believe it. This human girl got the best of us again." Breakdown said with anger towards the human girl that was with the Autobots.
Airachnid starts mumbling about something as Breakdown glances at her in confusion as he continues to patch her up.
"Huh, what was that?" He asked as Airachnid sighed softly and said it a little more clear for him to understand.
"I said thank you." She told him.
"You're thanking me? For what?" He asked in confusion. Why would Airachnid thank him? And for what?
This caused Airachnid to sigh at Breakdown's ignorance as she looked at him with nothing but genuine gratitude for once.
"For saving my life, you ignorant brute. I owe you one. You pushed me out of the way of the boulder." Airachnid said it more as Breakdown stayed silent at that before he spoke again.
"You're welcome. Just don't mention it to anyone. I got a reputation to uphold." Breakdown said as he could feel heat rising to his face plate as Airachnid chuckled softly.
"You're not the only one here with secrets. Why did you save me? Why did you push me out of the way of that boulder?" Airachnid couldn't help but ask curiously since it has been bugging for a bit earlier ever since they got back on the Nemesis.
"Maybe it's because I didn't want anything to happen to you. It could steal my chance of smashing you or maybe that... I appreciate your company when you're not irritating. Anyway I still need to patch you up." Breakdown said as he averted his optics anywhere but Airachnid while Airachnid was speechless at this but she couldn't help but smile secretly at that. Maybe Breakdown isn't so bad after all.
Airachnid stayed still while Breakdown continued to patch her up and she couldn't help to blush a little bit as she could feel something in her spark now that both she and Breakdown aren't insulting one another but that feeling confuses her.
Both Starscream and Knock Out stayed silent when the two heard the two of them talking and eavesdropped on the conversation and saw how they were getting along together for once and they couldn't help but grin at the thought of them being together.
"Please tell me that your partner isn't falling for that wretched Airachnid?" Starscream asked with a grin at the thought. Who knew that they would have finally caught a glimpse of the two getting along just fine.
"For his sake, I hope not. Just thinking about it makes my servos tremble. Disgusting." Knock Out said but deep down he was hoping that Breakdown would have found the right femme for him and Airachnid has the qualities of a femme that Breakdown has been looking for before the war.
Megatron then comes in along with Soundwave, Dreadwing and Skyquake as the four stand in attention as Megatron turns to Knock Out.
"Knock Out, have you studied the recent data?" Megatron asked Knock Out to shake his head since he's been busy patching everyone up from their injuries that he wasn't able to check the data yet.
"Not yet, my liege. I've been so busy patching everyone up that I didn't have the time to check the data. Plus after that, I was planning to fix my finish." Knock Out told him as Megatron nodded.
"I want you to check the data after you're done with your work. I need to know how strong our enemy has become." Megatron said before he, Skyquake and Soundwave left the room to head to the control room.
Only Dreadwing stayed there and saw how Breakdown was patching Airachnid up but what caught his attention was the fact that they weren't insulting each other for once as he turned to Knock Out and Starscream without taking his optics off Breakdown and Airachnid.
"What in the pit is going on with them?" He asked in confusion as Knock Out shrugged.
"Don't ask. Just the thought of it grosses me out." Knock Out said with a shudder as Dreadwing was confused but left it alone.
"If you say so. I just hope they'll finally get along in future missions." Dreadwing said as Starscream shrugged. Who knows.
"I wouldn't bet on it." He said.
Meanwhile Megatron along with Soundwave and Skyquake as the green seeker was still confused on how one of the Autobots' pets were able to defeat them so easily.
"Lord Megatron, I still don't understand how it is possible that a single human was able to defeat us." Skyquake said with confusion as Megatron was also confused as well.
"Skyquake, I too once underestimated the humans. Deposited their weakness. Humans are strong and resilient and that human girl is no exception." Megatron said with a sneer as he still couldn't believe that they were beaten again.
They went to the control room of the ship as Megatron continued to try and figure out a plan to beat the Autobots as they stood in front of the computers.
"The only way to defeat our enemy is to learn more about her. Soundwave, show us the footage you were able to obtain." Megatron turned to Soundwave as the communication specialist nodded and used one of his tendrils to hook up with the computer.
He then starts showing the footage of the battle for the mine since he sent Laserbeak to record everything. Megatron then noticed something as he told Soundwave to pause the footage quickly.
"Stop the footage." Megatron said as Soundwave does so.
"Enhance it. I wanna have a closer look at that strange suit that this human girl is wearing." Megatron told him as Soundwave zooms the video to get a closer look of Emily's suit as this caught their attention.
"What is that suit made of?" Skyquake asked as the suit was made finely and accurately for the user.
"The real question is: what makes it work? Cybertronian technology. Hahaha. Looks like Optimus' doctor has been busy. Today our defeat has given us the possibility of a future exploitable asset." Megatron said with surprise when he discovered that it was made from their own tech as Megatron smiled evilly.
"Which one, my lord?" Skyquake asked as Megatron didn't turn around as Soundwave resumed the footage as they watched it.
"The doctor's scientific intelligence and experience." Megatron finally said as a plan was forming in his mind.
Uh oh. Looks like Megatron is brewing up another of his plans to beat the Autobots. The question is: what is his plan and what is he planning?
