When she woke up after what seemed like forever, she found herself staring at the ceiling of a place before realizing that she was back in the base and her body was covered with bandages. She sat up slowly and hissed as pain shot up from her arm. She will definitely be stuck in bed for a while. She grunted slightly as this caught Ratchet's attention and realized that she was awake and approached her.
"Easy there. You're safe." Ratchet told her as she just sat down against the bed she was on as she glanced at him. She was still feeling bitter from earlier but a familiar face made her feel relieved.
"Right now this is the last place where I would want to be." Emily grunted as her leg was a little sore.
"I understand..." Ratchet sighed as he knew that she was still mad and upset from earlier but what she said next made him double take.
"But I'm glad I'm back. Thanks for saving me back there." Emily said with a small smile as he couldn't help but smile back. At least she was feeling better.
"Yeah, well, one of these days you'll face something bigger than you." Ratchet scolded her playfully as she let out a small laugh.
"Until that day comes, I'm good." Emily said. It was good to see that he was okay.
"Is she awake?" Arcee asked Ratchet from her spot with the others.
She hears Emily speaking and goes over to them to see if she is awake. She saw that she was and was relieved. They had called June from the hospital to help get Emily patched up after the battle and they all waited for her to wake up as Ratchet made sure that he kept an eye on her vitals.
"Emily. Oh, thank the Allspark you're okay." Arcee smiled happily in relief as she smiled back.
The other Autobots along with Jack, Miko and Raf went to check to see how she's doing as they bombarded her with questions and telling her how worried they were as Bolty went up to her and made a worried chirp as she rubbed his little white head.
"Emily, you're okay." Jack gave her a side hug as she winced slightly but pats his back.
"Alright." Miko offered a fist bump which she did and bumps their fists together.
"We were so worried about you." Raf sniffed and it looked like he had been crying for an hour earlier.
"How are you feeling?" Jack asked as Emily gave him a look as if saying 'You're not the one who's banged up and on the bed'.
"Are you hurt?" Miko asked as Emily laughed nervously.
"Do you need something?" Raf asked before June stopped them and pry them off Emily since she was feeling overwhelmed with the questions.
"Calm down, you guys. Give her some space." June said as she came in before walking over to where Emily is to check on her condition. She still can't believe that Emily was able to sustain these injuries from a fight let alone against a Decepticon.
"You okay? Got any headache?" June asked as Emily winced when she felt one coming and held her head.
"Just a bit." Emily groans slightly.
"You'll feel better in no time." June smiled softly at her as Emily smiled slightly after her headache went away.
"Doing okay, kid?" The other human in the group surprised Emily as she looked at him as Agent Fowler came in.
"Agent Fowler, what are you doing here?" She asked curiously as Agent Fowler motioned his head to Optimus.
"Prime told me the news. So I came to see if you were doing okay." Agent Fowler explained as June nodded.
"Jack called me at the hospital. When I heard the news, I got worried." June added.
"Good thing that Team Prime was there to save you." Agent Fowler said as Emily let out a small laugh.
"You can say that again." Emily told him.
"I still can't believe you put the hurt on Megatron." Smokescreen said. He was still in shock at how she beat Megatron up. He stopped and noticed that she went quiet and winced slightly at that.
"I'm... sorry." He apologized but she just shook her head. She couldn't believe it either.
"It's okay... I can't believe it either. I let my anger out. And I almost killed him. Maybe I should've." Emily said as she looked down at her lap.
"Destroying your enemy with anger will only lead to more pain." Optimus told her as she looked up to him and knew that he was right.
"Yeah I guess." Emily muttered before her expression turned into a saddened one as she looked at them.
"Look, guys,... I wanted to say... I'm sorry for what I said to you guys before I left. When I found out about the truth, all I could think about was my own pain. The suffering I've endured for years. I shouldn't have acted that way. And I'm sorry for that." Emily said as her voice cracked.
They just smiled at her. It wasn't her fault for reacting that way and they should have told her earlier.
"You don't need to be. This happened because I've failed to keep my promise to your father. I should've told you a long time ago." Ratchet reassured her as she wiped her tears that threatened to fall from her eyes.
"We all have a share of the blame but for now we must be grateful that today, our greatest comrade and greatest friend has come back." Optimus said with a small smile as they agreed to that.
"Thanks, Optimus." Emily returned the smile. At least all is forgiven.
"You should probably get some rest. But knowing you. You wouldn't listen to me." Ratchet said before pointing out how stubborn she is since she stood up slowly from the bed.
"Got that right. If... you'll excuse me, I need to get some air." Emily told them as they nodded and let her go to the elevator to the roof of the base to get some fresh air and some time to think as Bolty landed on Miko's head.
The others watched her go as Agent Fowler spoke.
"I still can't believe she's half Cybertronian." Agent Fowler said.
He was pretty shocked to say the least when the Autobots and the kids told him who Emily was and it made him almost spit out the coffee he was drinking when he received the call. June agreed to that one. When she received the call from Jack and she arrived at the base where she started to treat Emily, the others explained to her how she got the injuries and she was pretty shocked too.
"Me neither." June agreed as she put her medical supplies away.
"You should've seen what happened back there. She was about to end Megatron's life for good." Bulkhead said. Such raw anger, rage and hatred towards someone is scary. And Emily definitely has drawn a line on not getting on her bad side or someone will end up like Megatron.
"She would've done it if we hadn't stopped her. But I'm asking myself if we did the right thing." Arcee said. She was just glad that everything was forgiven and okay now.
"You did the right thing, Arcee." Optimus told her.
It will take some time for Emily to get used to after finding out she was half Cybertronian but for now, they need to let her rest and heal.
Meanwhile back at the Nemesis, Knock Out was patching up Megatron's injuries after he requested a ground bridge. To say the least they were fairly surprised and in disbelief when Megatron came through it and was totally beaten up.
"How on Cybertron did you get hurt like this?" Knock Out asked as he was fixing the dents and other injuries while Megatron lay on the berth to let the medic treat his injuries.
"Let's just say that our new human friend has something that makes her... special." Megatron said as Knock Out became curious and intrigued by this.
"Is that so?" He asked to make sure as the warmonger nodded.
"I tried to make her join our cause. But she refused my offer." Megatron sneered when he thought back on how she refused his offer and how the battle started.
"Guess the girl is as stubborn as they get." Knock Out said as he continued to treat his patient.
"Yes. And I can assure you that I intend to make her pay a heavy price for what she did. And when I'm done with her, I will take care of Optimus Prime myself." Megatron said. Oh the girl will pay dearly and he will stab her where it hurts the most by destroying the mech that she cares deeply for.
Meanwhile back at the base, Emily was thinking about today's event. About how she found out that she was the daughter of Alpha Trion, one of the Thirteen Original Primes and how she almost killed Megatron out of anger.
She started thinking that her act made her unworthy to bear the Autobots insignia. Unworthy to be the daughter of a Prime. She then started singing a lament song as she was doubting herself for it as she sat on the roof of the base.
Emily: Why, why even trust me at all
They say the prime is my call
But then they come to tell me I'm not

She sighed as she looked at her shoulder that bears the insignia of the side she was already born in.
Deep down, maybe I knew

Some daughter of Alpha Trion I turned out to be.
She stops singing as she looks down at her feet.
"I'm unworthy." She told herself as she was still doubting her place on the Autobots side.
Emily then starts to feel something pulsating inside her as if something was telling her as she looked at her chest to see it pulsing a blue glow. She then started feeling a mysterious presence right behind her.
"What is this feeling?" She put a hand over the glowing center of her chest before a gentle and echoic voice was heard.
"My child." The voice said as Emily heard that it was talking to her and was getting a little nervous and scared.
"Who's that?" She asked nervously before a strange cosmic light started appearing in front of Emily as she stood up in surprise and shock.
From that strange blue light, a spirit starts appearing and it looked like a femme like Arcee but looks older around the 20 years old in human years.
"Who are you?" She asked in confusion and curiosity.
"After so many eons, I can finally see you." The spirit femme said as she smiled down at her as she kneel down.
"Do I know you?" Emily tilted her head curiously as she didn't sense anything bad from this spirit. Only security and warmth.
"No. When I met you, you were only sparkling." She told her softly as Emily was surprised by this.
"How do you know about that?" She asked in surprise and curiosity.
"What Carrier wouldn't know her own daughter?" She gave her a gentle playful look as Emily stared at her in surprise.
"Daughter? No way... does this mean you are...?" Emily was confused at first but when she put the pieces together, it clicked and she stared at her with shock and surprise. She never knew and right in front of her is her real mother.
"Yes. I'm what the inhabitants of this world refer to as a mother." The spirit of her mother chuckled softly as Emily just looked at her with a smile. Hearing her mother's voice and seeing is so new and relieving
"So... you're my mother?" She looked up to her with childlike curiosity as the spirit of her mother smiled down gently at her.
"Yes. My name is Solarix. Look at you. You have grown so much since the last time I saw you. Emily. It's such a beautiful name." Solarix said as Emily smiled up to her.
"Thanks, mom. Although Emily is my human name. Do I have a Cybertronian name?" She looked up to her curiously as Solarix just smiled at her.
"Only you can know that. I can sense that something is troubling you, my dear. What's wrong?" Solarix asked as Emily grew saddened, confused as she looked at her hands.
"I don't know. I guess I feel kind of lost. Today I acted the wrong way in combat. I let my anger out of control and I almost killed someone. My friends have taught me that killing someone whether they're good or bad won't bring you anything good. Maybe they're right, maybe killing Megatron wasn't the answer to end this war. But maybe if I had the will to do what's necessary, it would be a lot easier to end all this." Emily said as she told her mother why as she was still feeling lost from finding out the truth and Solarix can see it.
"From what I can tell, you don't know what to do. You feel like your choice of not killing makes you weak. But it makes you stronger than you think. We all make choices. Sometimes they're good and sometimes they're bad. You've made plenty of choices and yet you have not regretted it." Solarix told her and Emily realized that her mother had a point as she looked up to her as she continued.
"All your decisions have led you to this very moment. The moment whether you decide to back out or keep fighting. We both know you will never back out from anything. You're brave, strong, wise and loyal. You will do anything to fight for freedom and to protect those who can't protect themselves. Those are the qualities of a true Autobot. You're still young. You have a long way ahead of you. You may not see it now but you have become a great warrior. Your father would be so proud. Just like me." Solarix said as Emily started to cry softly but had a smile on her as her mother wiped her tears away as Emily leaned to her digit.
"Thanks, mother." Emily sniffed as she wiped her tears slightly as she smiled up to her as Solarix smiled down to her
"You're welcome, my child. I have to go. But I know you will make the right choice. You always do. Be prepared, your journey will be long. Many challenges will be ahead of you. Remember, never back down from your decisions. And be strong." Solarix stood up as she started fading and returned back to the Well of the Allspark.
"Till all are one." She said as she gave Emily one last smile before she disappeared as Emily watched her go with a smile.
She now knew that she had made the right choice and that she had to be strong. Emily stops crying and with joy and proper clarity, she knows what she has to do and sings it out loud as she looks up to the sky to see that it is nearing night time but she can see the first star as it twinkled down at her as she smiled up to the star.
Emily: Maybe my journey is far from done

She finished singing as she looked up to the star as it seemed to twinkle to her as she smiled happily as she put her hands on her chest that was glowing before it stopped.
"Thanks, mom. For everything. I'll make sure you stay proud of me. Till all are one." Emily smiled as she relaxed. After that, Emily went down to the base to get some rest.
Meanwhile in the place where she was infected by dark energon, a dark spirit was lurking in the place as it rose up from the ground. It looked human but it looks like a ghost and clenched its ghostly hands
"Emily..." It hissed the name of the mortal as it started to laugh evilly.
"You... will... be mine..." It chuckled evilly as it opened its eyes as it glowed an eerie purple before disappearing in the darkness and shadows of the night.
It would wait for the right moment and to get its revenge on Emily and will control her.
Uh oh. Looks like the darkness that came out of Emily is wanting revenge and control. But only time will tell until it can reveal itself to the world.
