"I guess I should get used to waking up with headaches…" Zack muttered as he helped himself up by using the support of the door.
The entire room was completely devoid of the darkness now and the coffin stood in the middle of it. The walls were made from a sleek gray-colored matter and seemed to make the place look like a prison.
The teenager exited the room and closed the door behind him before sighing. He then wondered whether Emma had gone through something similar.
[ Hey, you all right? ]
[ Yeah… Just woke up after being knocked unconscious. Let's meet in that room from earlier. ]
It looked as though Emma had gone through something similar and might have gotten a pseudo legendary weapon too. The white-haired boy then walked up to the door that brought him out to the circular white room.
The pink-haired woman appeared a few seconds after him and she had a tired expression on her face which made Zack wonder whether he had a similar expression on his face.
"So did you enter a very special type of room?" Zack asked as they sat down on the floor.
"I entered a room called ***" Emma replied as the white-haired boy blinked in confusion.
"You entered what room?"
"***" The pink-haired woman replied again but the teenager still wasn't able to hear what she was saying. Her voice would turn to mute when she tried to say the name of the room she had been.
"I entered a room called the resting place of the heir of Pendragon." The white-haired boy then tried to run an experiment and as he had imagined, Emma looked confused.
"What did you say?"
"Looks like we cannot hear the name of the place the other visited," Zack replied with a sigh as his hopes of getting to know more about the rooms was shattered. "Anyways, did you get some kind of weapon from there?"
"Looks like you got one too," Emma then decided to show Zack what she had received from the place. "Well, I wanted a bow and I got one."
She took out a golden-colored bow from her inventory. The bow was as big as half of her body which meant that it was 33 inches long (83.32 cm). The string was made from a golden-colored material while the rest of the bow was half silver and half black in color.
It reminded Zack of a certain bow that he had read about in his previous life.
"Khryselakatos," The pink-haired woman looked at Zack's curious face. "That's the name of the bow. The description says that it is something that Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, used before passing it down to her heir."
"Artemis has an heir?" The white-haired boy asked with a confused look since as far as he remembered, Artemis was a goddess who swore to be a virgin forever.
"That confused me as well. In other games that I have played, Artemis is always a virgin though maybe her heir is not related to her? I found it in a coffin anyways." Emma shrugged as it was now Zack's turn to show his weapon.
He then took out his pseudo legendary sword from his inventory which seemed to look like an ordinary sword in front of the bow.
However, the teenager's eyes widened a little when he saw that the sword had changed a lot. The hilt was now golden in color and had a design of a rose on it.,
The blade now seemed to glow a little and appeared to be made from some kind of… crystal.
'The details of the sword did say that it is called the crystal sword.' Zack then wondered whether Emma's bow had changed from before too.
"Emma, did that bow look like that earlier when you first got it?"
"How did you know that?" She asked back with a surprised expression as the white-haired boy smiled.
"Because my sword looks different too. Perhaps yours looked a lot duller and ordinary before?"
"Yeah, that about sums it up. What's the name of the sword though?" Emma asked while pointing at the crystal sword.
"Its name is Eirias and it belongs to King Arthur's heir. I don't know much about Welsh literature but I know that Arthur is the wielder of Excalibur. It's portrayed in enough anime and games." The teenager replied as the duo examined each other's weapons.
"Is your sword a pseudo legendary grade weapon too?" Emma suddenly asked as she took her bow back.
"Yeah," Zack then put the sword back in his inventory before he stood up. "Wanna test these weapons?"
"Well, let's visit that dungeon you were grinding in."
"How did you know about that?" Zack paused as he was pretty sure that no one below level 20 could access the dungeon yet Emma had known about that.
"Looks like you are not following your own advice. Your video of coming at the entrance of the dungeon again and again is viral on the forums dude." The pink-haired woman replied with a smile as Zack opened the forums and scrolled a bit.
'The hell…' Emma had been telling the truth as the teenager saw his video on the front page. It showed how he would enter the dungeon and come out a few minutes later after finishing the grinding.
But when he saw who posted the video, a sigh escaped his mouth. It was none other than the mysterious Elyon who seemed to be born a rival.
The white-haired boy was tired of Elyon trying to do something against him so he decided that it was time he showed his real powers.
"Let's go to the dungeon, Emma. We are going to do a few record-breaking things there." Zack said as he and Emma exited their guild and started moving towards the dungeon location.
***
Somewhere in the Heridor kingdom, Elyon was roaming through one of the dungeons with a small smile on his face.
"Mr. Elyon, thank you for your help in making us all level up to level 20." A man with a black mustache and a bald head bowed down to the shadow-covered person in front of him.
Behind him stood 500 players who were all bowing their heads down in front of the shadow-covered person.
For the past five days, he had been helping all of them level up by taking them to a dungeon. He would make all the monsters' health drop down to ten and they would be able to one-shot them.
After repeating this process for quite some time, Elyon had managed to push all of the 501 players to level 20. But now that he had done this, it was time for all of them to hold their end of the deal.
"I will now take all of you to the edge of the Eizenburgh kingdom where the Echo Bat Dungeon is located. If our luck is good, we will find the number one player there. If our luck is bad, I will find him later on and bring you all there. Clear?" Elyon's voice sounded like the combined voices of a male, female, and a child.
There was no way to determine which one of the three he was though child was automatically ruled out since he was too tall to be a child.
""Clear sir!""
"Then let's go." The shadow-covered figure grinned even though no one could see him.
And with that, they set on their way to hunt the number one player.
