"What brings you here, Zack?" A curious feminine voice asked.
The voice sounded both far away and close at the same time. This was how Nyx sounded if she was talking while remaining close to someone.
"Hello, mom. I would feel happy if you can remove this curtain of darkness from my face." Zack replied with a smile.
He might have been able to partially see through the darkness using his eyes but chose not to do it. Zack instead wanted to fully see everything which was why he requested his mother to remove the darkness.
"Are you sure that you would be able to survive now?" Nyx asked in a concerned voice.
If someone heard the goddess of night talking in this manner, they would surely think that the world was ending.
Nyx was often portrayed as the goddess that all gods were afraid of. Her powers of night and darkness would surely have been terrifying if not for the fact that like her sister, Nyx was also restricted.
