Chapter 59 - Apology Event

The atmosphere in the villa was oppressive and gloomy. The nannies sensed that Shang Yan was in a bad mood, so they all dodged him and did not dare to meet his eyes.

Shang Yan leaned lightly against the back of the chair, his well-defined fingers resting on his eyes.

Regret engulfed every nerve in his body, and his limbs and bones became cold.

His face was pale as he closed his eyes. All he could see was Qu Xiao's trembling body as she forcefully held back her tears and stubbornly turned around.

The butler walked to his side with a worried expression and stopped. He wanted to give him advice but he did not know how to start the conversation.

Shang Yan heard the sound of footsteps. He opened his eyes tiredly and said in a low and hoarse voice, "What should I do? I seem to have done many things wrong. These misunderstandings have hurt Qu Xiao. What should I do to make her forgive me?"
