In the ballroom, the crowd became lively as Norton Jarvis and Vicki Johnson joined the dance floor, and soon enough, everyone else poured in.
Tiffany Mamet, pregnant and unable to dance, could only watch quietly from the side. She had convinced herself numerous times to go home, yet she stayed each time, longing to catch another glimpse of the man. Unfortunately, his gaze never fell upon her.
"They dance wonderfully," a government official sitting beside Leo Spencer complimented, then added, "Governor Spencer, your nephew is truly capable of anything."
Leo 'haha' laughed and said, "I'm proud to have such a nephew."
"The governor's ballroom dancing isn't half bad either; it's a pity Mrs. Spencer is pregnant, otherwise she'd certainly be able to compete with Mr. Gem and Miss Brown," another official said, deliberately making conversation for the awkward Tiffany.
Tiffany forced a smile from the side.
