A stretch black sedan adorned with many white chrysanthemums drove past the foot of the cemetery's hill, clearly having attended a funeral.
Inside the car, a woman in a dark blue kimono sat upright with a stoic expression, her face partly obscured by a black veiled hat. Only the beauty mark on her lower lip was conspicuously visible, which, coupled with her slightly curved lips, imparted a somewhat eerie air.
The driver asked in Japanese, "Miss Snow, would you like to join the post-funeral banquet?"
The woman replied, "No need."
"Yes, Miss Snow."
Unlike the other cars descending the hill, this stretch vehicle turned a corner, heading in a different direction.
