"Beas, are you hungry?"
Beas blinked with his eyes, nodded, and looked at Forsythia Brown with a very aggrieved expression.
A wave of tenderness rose in Forsythia's heart, and she bent down to kiss the little creature's forehead, then carried him down the mountain. As soon as they returned to the manor, they saw Elijah.
After half a year of not seeing him, Elijah had grown a lot taller and tanned a bit.
"Elijah," Forsythia exclaimed in surprise.
"Mather Brown," Elijah's expression was a bit shy, but he was quite excited to see Forsythia.
"Elijah, how come you're here?"
"Our study tour group just happened to be visiting Axe City recently. Father Atkinson heard I was in Axe City and came to pick me up."
Elijah had enrolled in a study tour and a summer camp. Over the past month, he had traveled to many places and gained a lot of new experiences. His face seemed to smile more than before, and he talked much more than he used to.
