Harlan had already contacted Beauty Child, requesting her military helicopter to make an emergency landing in Edinburgh to pick them up, regardless of her mission; they were determined to lend her a hand.
Beauty Child hadn't given a clear response. Harlan said, "If your helicopter doesn't arrive in twenty minutes, Gem and I will go see Jack alone." With that, Harlan hung up the phone.
The summer in Edinburgh was extremely hot, and even at night, the breeze carried with it waves of heat, affecting everyone's mood with its restlessness.
