Forsythia Brown and Peter Andrews tirelessly switched vehicles, attire, identities, and appearances. After two more days, the duo, along with Liz, arrived at the northernmost city of Mexico, Tijuana.
Forsythia was extremely cautious. She settled Peter and Liz into a rental house similar to a bed and breakfast and said, "Don't go out and don't make phone calls. I'll go out and have a look."
"Phoenix," Liz, now more alert, looked at Forsythia with hopeful eyes.
Forsythia said, "Don't worry, once we're past Tijuana, that's the United States. Jack is powerful, but not powerful enough to reach into the United States."
