Gem Atkinson and Forsythia Brown received an invitation to the school celebration. When the two arrived at Riverdale University, the president personally welcomed them.
Though the Atkinson Group Empire was on the brink of collapse, Gem managed to secure investments of one billion dollars from each of the other six major families in River State, barely keeping the Atkinson Group from falling apart.
Six years ago, the Atkinson Group had suffered a similar blow, and the measures Gem took to pull it back from the brink were still taught at Riverdale University as classic case studies for juniors and seniors to learn from.
So there were quite a few alumni attending the celebration today, but only a few could sit on the main stage.
