Yigol Foster and Forsythia Brown first took Elijah back to the Elegant Garden, then brought Clive and Audrey back to Century Flower City, where several police cars were parked under Building A.
The scene was shocking.
Forsythia's body tensed slightly, and she had a feeling what was about to happen. Her eyes scanned the area and finally landed on the leading officer.
She recognized the officer, who was none other than Leader Marquez, the one who handled Emmett Atkinson's case during Audrey's fourth birthday party.
Yigol Foster, having dealt with them more often, also recognized Leader Marquez. He stepped forward with a wicked smile and asked, "Leader Marquez, what brings you here today?"
"Mr. Foster, we have a little situation. We need Miss Brown to come to the police station to assist with an investigation."
Yigol Foster said: "Clive, take Audrey with you."
