Century Flower City!
Forsythia was telling Audrey a story.
After a few stories, Audrey still had no intention of sleeping, her eyes sparkling and full of life.
Punishment and love were two different things, and Forsythia knew this well. She touched the little creature's forehead and asked, "Baby, what's wrong?"
"Mom, you said we shouldn't fight violence with violence?"
"Yes."
"Then how can we shut the mouths of those people who gossip about Elijah?"
"Did you ever ask Elijah what he thinks about such matters?"
"I did."
"What did he say?"
"He said that mouths are on other people's bodies, so let them talk. He also said that we shouldn't let our mood be affected by those people because he doesn't need to care about people who don't have him in their eyes. He doesn't have the time or energy to worry about how others perceive him, and he doesn't like wasting his feelings and time on such worthless matters."
