Audrey entered Elijah's bedroom without even knocking. Then, she saw a huddled figure on the bed.
"Elijah."
As Audrey's voice sounded, Elijah stiffened under the covers, followed by the feeling of someone pulling on the blanket. He hurriedly stretched out his hand to hold the blanket, covering himself tightly.
Audrey frowned at the sight, and finally decided to climb onto the bed and crawl under the covers. She continued crawling till she reached Elijah's side.
It was pitch black under the covers, and nothing could be seen.
Audrey groped around in her small backpack and pulled out a small pearl. Soft light soon filled the inside of the blanket.
"Elijah, do you know what this is?"
Feeling the light source, Elijah's eyes trembled but remained closed.
"This is a night pearl."
