"It's just too much of a coincidence that my wife's health noticeably deteriorated after the medication was changed. Dr. Mamet, I have to ask, would she have been better if the medication hadn't been changed? I remember you once excitedly told me that once my son was born, the medicine you made would bring you into the heaven of the Nobel Prize in Medicine. Yet, you changed the prescription."
"Maybe it's all destined. In the end, I was still a step short."
Gem Atkinson slowly opened his laptop and said, "In fact, if all drugs have a certain degree of toxicity, wouldn't the Vitamin C tablets have the same drug toxicity? Why would Dr. Mamet go out of her way to change the medication in the end?"
"I made the change because long-term use of one drug can lead to drug resistance and tolerance issues."
Josh Levs slightly raised an eyebrow. As a doctor, Isla Mamet's statement was indeed faultless. He silently nodded in agreement.
