River State First Hospital.
When Isla Mamet walked out, several black-clad bodyguards gestured her to come forward.
She recognized these bodyguards as Gem Atkinson's guards.
She gave them a smile and got into the car.
The car smoothly drove down the road and soon stopped in front of the private hospital owned by Josh Levs.
"Dr. Mamet, please."
Isla Mamet, led by the bodyguards, stepped into the hospital.
Gem Atkinson, standing with his hands behind his back in Josh Levs' office, didn't move an inch as he gazed at the scenery outside the floor-to-ceiling window.
As Isla Mamet entered, she looked steadily at his upright figure for a moment and finally said, "Mr. Atkinson."
Gem slowly turned around, his deep black eyes unblinkingly staring at her. Despite her extensive experience, Isla still felt overwhelmed by his unrelenting gaze and averted her eyes.
"Dr. Mamet, please have a seat."
