After yet another call with Eleanor Spencer Atkinson, Long Ruby walked into Coral Ruby's hospital room.
"Dad, what did Mrs. Atkinson say?"
"She's still at the resort."
The Ruby family was once servants of the Atkinsons and knew their rules only too well. "She should be back by tomorrow," said Coral Ruby.
"Yeah. But even when she returns, she said she won't be able to come to the hospital for the time being. There are too many prying eyes and the old man is keeping a tight watch on her. She can only find an opportunity to talk later."
"Dad. Can you manage to get something like Gem's hair?"
Realizing his daughter's intention, Long Ruby rebuked, "Nonsense!"
Leaving aside Gem's bodyguards, even the things he used were disposed of only after strict handling. How could one easily get his hair?
Long Ruby added, "Why are you in such a rush?"
"I, I just want to confirm as soon as possible. I can't wait anymore."
