Forsythia Brown sat on the sofa, touching her chin in thought.
Gem Atkinson came out of the kitchen, holding a fruit platter in his hand. He placed the platter on the table, sat down next to Forsythia, pulled her into his arms, and lovingly kissed the top of her head, asking, "What's up? What are you thinking about so intently?"
"Gem, why did our little treasure suddenly change her plans?"
According to the original plan, the family of four would go skiing in Switzerland during the summer vacation. Then, Gem and Forsythia would have a wedding with Swiss characteristics, with Clive and Audrey as flower children.
But the summer vacation was still a month away, and Audrey suddenly wanted to participate in a student exchange program.
Exchange students would be fine, but she also wanted to attend a summer camp.
