Mr. Atkinson was looking at a photo album.
When he saw Forsythia come in, he kindly beckoned her over.
As usual, Forsythia went over and sat down beside Mr. Atkinson's leg, putting her hands on his leg and looking at the photo album on his lap.
The album was very familiar to Forsythia, as Mr. Atkinson often liked to look at it. There were photos of Gem Atkinson from birth to the present, as well as photos of her from birth to the present, and a photo of her parents together.
In the past, she had always been curious about why there were no pictures of Mr. Atkinson and Eleanor Spencer Atkinson in the album. Later, she had a general idea. The people in the album were those that Mr. Atkinson held dear, and Eleanor Spencer Atkinson was evidently not one of them.
Now, there were two more people in the album: Audrey and Clive.
