After parting with Mrs. Palmer and White Palmer, it was already 10 PM when Clive returned to Century Flower City.
Since it was the weekend, Gem Atkinson did not urge Audrey to go to bed early, instead, he played with her for a while, accompanied her to wash up, and then coaxed her to sleep.
Seeing the man go upstairs, Forsythia Brown asked, "Aren't you going to sleep?"
"I have some things to do."
It was the end of the year, and the man was busy. Forsythia didn't ask much more, only saying, "Don't stay up too late, get some rest, and you can spare some time tomorrow."
"Hmm, you go to sleep first."
Upon going upstairs, Gem Atkinson went directly to Clive's room, feeling that Clive must be investigating Bright Hawkins' surveillance video from five years ago.
Sure enough, Clive was busying himself with the computer.
Gem Atkinson sat down next to Clive and asked, "How's it going?"
