Audrey motioned for Gem to set her down, then went over to the mahjong table, climbed up onto the chair, and said, "I gave that ten million dollar black card to Clive. Today, Clive will use the black card to play cards. As for me, I'll use the 50 million dollar IOU from you, Dad. Mommy, you can't laugh at Clive and me being broke anymore. Together, Clive and I have sixty million dollars, so we can gamble big, you know."
Gem immediately sat down next to Audrey, coaxing her, "Baby, give the IOU to Daddy. Daddy will give you a 50 million dollar black card instantly, and you can make payments with the black card too."
A corner of Clive's eye twitched: it might be a little late for Father Atkinson to try and mend fences now.
