The landscape was beautiful, covered in a blanket of snow.
Upon returning home from school, Audrey and Clive were met by the sound of an angry roar from within, "All of you, kneel down."
The booming sound sent both Audrey and Clive shivering.
After Mr. Atkinson woke up in the hospital two days later, he insisted on returning to Atkinson Manor for his recovery. At first, he had to use a wheelchair, but eventually, he was able to walk slowly with the help of a cane.
Since Gem and Forsythia were both in poor health, Clive and Audrey stayed at Atkinson Manor temporarily. Their first order of business every day after school was to visit the old folks at Renowned Garden.
Today was no exception.
