As she spoke, Forsythia Brown strode out of the office.
Right now, she yearned to see that man, to tell him that their miracle had always been there.
She couldn't wait to tell him this until his and the miracle's birthday.
Pulling out her phone, her hands trembled as she quickly dialed his number.
But at the other end of the phone, a mechanical female voice said, 'The number you have dialed is currently turned off.'
She paused, then laughed. Of course, he was likely on a plane right now, how could he possibly answer the phone.
Furthermore, even if she could reach him, knowing the man's obsession with the child, he would inevitably turn back to Beijing without hesitation.
Never mind then.
She decided not to make it harder for him.
It's only a matter of a few days. They could talk about it later.
With that thought in mind, Forsythia put her phone back in her bag and strode toward the hospital entrance.
