The car stopped in front of an antique black tea shop. The bodyguard respectfully opened the door for Forsythia Brown to get out.
"Madam is in the Secluded Valley private room."
Forsythia nodded and entered the tea shop.
Following the attendant's guidance, she arrived at the Secluded Valley private room. Looking at the tightly closed door, she took a deep breath, knocked softly, and then gently pushed it open.
Soon, Mrs. Atkinson and Eleanor Spencer Atkinson, who had been waiting inside, raised their heads and stared at Forsythia. Their eyes, usually full of spirit, now showed a stern look.
Forsythia bowed to Mrs. Atkinson and then sat down opposite her.
The two of them just stared at each other in silence, not saying a word.
"I never expected that you would be released so soon if it weren't for Maggie telling me," Mrs. Atkinson said.
