"Oh my, I'm so scared." While speaking, Forsythia Brown patted her chest and pretended to look scared.
This kind of joking, provocative action made Maggie Spencer even more furious. She pointed at Forsythia, unable to utter a word.
Forsythia pushed her hand away, walked straight past Maggie's shoulder, and said, "Get out of the way, good dogs don't block the road."
She had just called Forsythia a street rat, and now Forsythia was calling her a dog. Maggie's face turned pale with anger, and she turned to look at Forsythia, "Who are you calling a dog?"
Forsythia stopped, turned around, looked at her with amusement, and said, "Whoever responds is the one."
"You..."
She thought that this damned Forsythia would have softened up after five years in prison. Contrary to expectation, she not only didn't become submissive but seemed even more arrogant than before.
Watching Forsythia get in the car and leave nonchalantly, Maggie stomped her feet in anger.
