Coral Ruby felt utterly humiliated and thought everyone was laughing at her.
Angry and embarrassed, she raised her hand to slap Forsythia Brown, but her quick reflexes allowed her to grab Coral's hand. "Miss Coral Ruby, think twice before you hit me. If I defend myself, you'll look worse than a grimace in no time."
Her hand trapped and unable to move, Coral was in so much pain that tears almost fell.
