Chapter 2 - 002 Phoenix Ivy

Enchanting.

A place teeming with beauty and wealth.

Many young scions have come to visit Enchanting tonight.

Simply because Enchanting has become legendary recently, drawing in countless young elites.

As three tall and handsome young men entered Enchanting, they immediately caught the eyes of every woman.

Not to mention the women who were entranced by these three, even the other men were in a stupefied daze.

While this place often hosts young elites, these "master" level elites are seldom seen.

These three new youths that walked in are indeed such 'masters'.

Thus, the women swarmed, lifting their gaze, posing their bodies, and flirting with the most enchanting smiles...

Ignoring the flirting women, the three masters headed straight for the stage.

The manager of Enchanting, having known that these three masters were to attend, had reserved the three VIP seats near the stage. Upon their arrival, he warmly welcomed them, showed them to their seats, and eagerly announced, "Please wait a moment, Phoenix Ivy will be here soon."

Speaking of Enchanting, it's not particularly large or small, and it's not even ranked in the top ten in its industry in River State. However, since a mysterious woman arrived a month ago, Enchanting has vaulted to the forefront.

The woman's mystery lies in her regular mask resembling a phoenix and her skin-tight black outfits. After every performance at Enchanting, she would swiftly disappear on her stylish Harley Motorcycle.

Appearing and disappearing like the wind every night.

Her mystery, her vigorous dancing and passionate singing captivated countless visitors within a month, catapulting Enchanting's rank swiftly among its competitors, and it currently sits securely at the top of the charts.

The mysterious woman's codename: Phoenix Ivy.

It's often said in the industry, "Enchanting is a Wutong tree, and it finally managed to attract a golden phoenix."

As the manager of Enchanting entertained the three masters and provided detailed introductions about Phoenix Ivy, a commotion rose from the backstage; screams and shoutings of "Phoenix Ivy is here!" rang throughout the room.

In that moment, the crowd, who had long been lingering near the stage, boiled with excitement. The three masters, Norton Jarvis, White Palmer, and Josh Levs, who had been the center of attention before, were now thoroughly ignored. Even the club's manager turned to look excitedly at the stage.

As the voice of "Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready?" rang, Norton Jarvis, White Palmer, and Josh Levs were all startled: this voice was too familiar.

Then, the crowd, who were here for the famous Phoenix Ivy, went crazy, screaming "We're ready!" over and over again, drowning out anything else Phoenix Ivy was saying.

As these three exchanged glances, the anticipated Phoenix Ivy descended from the sky, hanging from silk.

As always, she was dressed in a tight black leather outfit with a phoenix mask on. Tonight, however, she also wore a pair of gold wings on her back, matching her golden mask like golden flames.

Swinging from silk, she circled around the stage, like a phoenix soaring through the fire.

"Phoenix Ivy! Phoenix Ivy! Phoenix Ivy!"

The screams grew more frantic, which made the three masters twitch.

"White, I suggest you do the same in your club, or you'll be out of business soon."

Upon hearing this, White snapped, "My name is White Palmer, not White."

"Norton Jarvis is right, without innovation, your club will indeed have to shut down." This time it was Josh Levs who spoke.

The reason for their visit to Enchanting tonight was this same Phoenix Ivy. Due to Phoenix Ivy, Enchanting was doing great business. They were here to learn, and incidentally find some inspiration.

While they were talking, Phoenix Ivy, who had circled the stage twice, landed squarely in the middle. As the silk folds rose, the wings on her back rose too, leaving her alone on the stage.

This scene, no matter how one looked, was heart-rending.

For a moment, everything fell silent.

Suddenly, Phoenix Ivy raised her right arm, and her melodious voice rang out, "I am Phoenix Ivy, willing to break my wings, unwilling to go to heaven."

As Phoenix Ivy finished speaking, the swarm of spectators around the stage were once again sent into a frenzy, shouting, "Stay, Phoenix Ivy! Phoenix Ivy, stay!"

Upon hearing Phoenix Ivy's voice again, White nearly fell out of his VIP seat. He exchanged stunned looks with Norton Jarvis and Josh Levs.

The frenzied crowd quieted down again at a gentle wave from Phoenix Ivy. Then she raised her arm and snapped her fingers, asking, "Do you really want it?"

The crowd enthusiastically responded, "Yeah!"

She asked again, "Do you really want it?"

The crowd again responded enthusiastically, "Yeah!"

Again she asked, "Do you really want it?"

The crowd once again responded enthusiastically, "Yeah!"

At that, she gave a charming smile and said, "OK, music, go!"

A golden mask adorned her face, and a soaring phoenix emerged from her forehead. Its tail feathers spread down her right cheek, hiding most of her face, leaving only her delicate nose, red lips, and a little bit of her left cheek exposed. Within the phoenix's wings, a pair of peach-like eyes could be somewhat seen.

Even though only a bit of her face was visible, that didn't hide the charming dimple on her left cheek caused by her smile, the curl of her lips, and that happy expression which was so bewitching, it drove onlookers into a fervor.

Hearing this very familiar voice, seeing this very familiar smile, White finally fell off his chair. Between the surprise and the commotion, he didn't get up immediately and was instead trampled on by a crazed crowd rushing towards the stage.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" White raged, pulling his hand back, wanting to punch whoever had stepped on him. But when he looked up, all he saw was a sea of people. Where could he find the culprit?

The VIP area was completely ignored now, with everyone having surged towards the stage, their body moving in rhythm with the energetic music.

She sang on stage, "Go, go, go!"

The crowd echoed with, "Go, go, go!"

She sang again, "Ale, ale, ale!"

The crowd once again echoed, "Ale, ale, ale!"

It could be said that the entire club was in a frenzy, except for White, Norton Jarvis and Josh Levs, who were the only ones conscious enough to know what was happening. The others were in an ultimate state of madness and excitement.

"...Here we go! Ale, ale, ale Go, go, go ale, ale, ale The world stands up! Go, go, go! Ale, ale, ale..."

Her fiery persona, vigorous dance, crazed the stage, and captivated the night."

"It's her." Staring blankly at the stage, White affirmed.

"Yes, It's her." Norton Jarvis confirmed as well.

"Right, it's her." Josh Levs concluded at last.

"Damn it!" White pulled out his phone swiftly and dialed a number without hesitation. After three rings, the phone was answered and a hearty male voice said, "White!"
