"Surgery?"
Forsythia felt like she was hearing a tall tale. She said, "Impossible, he's perfectly healthy, never had any brain diseases. Why would I have him undergo surgery?"
"Oh, the surgery I'm talking about isn't the kind you have because of illness," the doctor said, looking through Peter's various medical reports, "It's a very complex brain operation. They severed his memory nerves, which is why he can't remember anything from his past."
Severed memory nerves?!
Why?
Forsythia was so shocked she couldn't speak.
All she heard was the doctor clicking his tongue in amazement, saying, "This kind of surgery exists only in theory. I never imagined someone would actually apply it in reality. Hey, where did your brother have this operation done? I'd like to pay a visit to the genius who performed it."
How would she know where the surgery was done?
Peter, having forgotten his past, certainly wouldn't know what happened to him either.
