Half a year later!
Atkinson Manor, Bell Tower Building.
Soft sunshine spilled into the bedroom, and on the luxurious bed, a large and a small figure lay there peacefully. The larger was Gem Atkinson, who, perhaps due to a pleasant dream, had lips slightly upturned, a faint smile playing at the corners. Lying beside him was a seven- or eight-month-old baby, whose biological clock was very regular; today, as usual, the baby woke up on time and surveyed the room with a pair of bright, sparkling eyes.
On his plump little face was a head of black, thick hair. Upon opening his eyes, he habitually moved his head and then saw the man with a peaceful expression sleeping beside him. The baby uttered a joyous "PA, PA."
But the man was still asleep.
