Gem Atkinson remained silent the entire time, his dark eyes fixed on Emmett Atkinson. His slender fingers occasionally tapped the table, each tap rhythmic and methodical.
When Emmett stopped speaking, he finally asked, "Replacing the CEO, what do you all think?"
One shareholder said, "According to the rules of the Atkinson Group Empire, only those who hold at least ten percent of the shares of the Atkinson Group Empire are eligible to compete for the CEO position. If I remember correctly, Mr. Emmett only has 3% of the shares."
Emmett Atkinson gave a smile, tossed a file over to the shareholder who had just spoken, and said, "Please, Mr. Rufus, take a good look at how many shares I hold."
Mr. Rufus flipped through the file and expressed his surprise, "11%."
