Coral Ruby's son was one month old and no longer needed to stay in the incubator. Coral Ruby held her son for the first time. Her face twisted with excitement, and moisture welled up in her eyes.
The little creature had grown quite a bit, no longer resembling a newborn mouse. His skin had stretched out, and his face was clean and white. Although his eyes were still small, it was obvious that they were dark and shiny, full of spirit.
Coral Ruby could not help herself and kissed her son's forehead, eyebrows, and nose.
Long Ruby, who stood at the side, sighed and remarked, "My daughter has grown up and become a mother. She's learned to love others now."
Coral Ruby looked up excitedly and asked, "Dad, isn't our baby beautiful?"
"He is beautiful."
"Dad, isn't our baby well-behaved?"
"Yes, he seldom cries. He's so endearing and easy to raise. We should give him a name instead of constantly calling him 'baby.'"
