From the moment they got home, Audrey crossed her arms, sat on the couch, pouted her lips, stared at the TV, and didn't move.
She really loved Lakeview Scenery Manor and had agreed with her dad to stay in Lake City for a few more days before returning to River State for school. But unexpectedly, her dad changed his mind halfway, which made her very angry.
Clive glanced at the TV; it was a commercial.
This was Audrey's least favorite TV program. So, he changed the channel. Uh-huh, it was a soap opera, Audrey's favorite. Then, he looked for Audrey's reaction, but her big eyes were still fixed unblinkingly on the TV.
Clive concluded Audrey wasn't really watching the TV, so he turned it off.
As expected, Audrey still didn't move.
Clive laughed and sat next to her, asking, "Angry at Father Atkinson?"
"He doesn't keep his words. He's not a good dad."
